Since I didn't have another outlet available in my den, I decided to order this battery operated digital clock. So far, I'm very pleased with it. All the specs indicated, are correct. Big, easy numbers to see; perfect size, and it has 4 different brightness levels to choose from. It takes 4AA batteries, so taking note, how long they'll last. The Battery Operated Digital Clock with Dual Alarms, 4 Dimmer settings, and 3 Volume Settings (ASIN: B0FQ9TCH81) uses 4 AA batteries (not included). The cordless nature is good for those that need to relocate the alarm clock at will. The display settings are from bright to nothing, so adjustable to meet almost everyone’s needs. The volume has three settings. While these are more than adequate for my wife and me, I know that the loudest setting is still too quiet for my son. He would easily sleep through the full 2 minutes of the loudest alarm. The alarm clock came with printed instructions. While it was a little more difficult to set up then some alarm clocks, I still did not need to reference the instructions. The snooze button is on the top at the center and is non-tactile. It cannot be detected by feel. The way one knows that the snooze has been activated is by the alarm silencing and the flashing light on the display. Pressing the snooze button activates the (non-configurable) 9-minute snooze. All other control buttons are on the back at the top edge. They are easy to detect by touch. Hitting any of these buttons cancels the alarm as well as the snooze (if active). The only way to know that the snooze is active is to view the flashing light on the display. While I never use the snooze function, if I did, I would be concerned with accidently canceling the snooze as I activated it by also (oops!) touching one of the buttons on the back top. Even though this is advertised as a travel alarm clock, I would not use it as such. The buttons on the back are not covered and could easily be pressed (activated) while packed in a suitcase or bag. I feel I would need to remove a battery for packing and then reinsert the battery and reset the clock and alarms at each destination. I would rather have a travel alarm clock that the control buttons were either covered or locked out when packed in a suitcase or bag. Read more
