I got these for my wife—alexandrite is the birthstone for our youngest daughter and following a family tradition, I wanted to get her a piece of jewelry that she could wear to celebrate the event. The studs appealed because she can wear them even with a grabby baby (dangly earrings are out for the next few years), and these did not disappoint. The stones are a good size and have decent clarity. They change color depending on the type and intensity of light; in daylight they appear to be teal and in artificial light, a nice warm purple. The white gold is a nice touch, but the stones are the star. My wife has been wearing them everyday since she got them. The earrings are great. Good color that shifts in the light as expected and desired. However, the packaging was badly damaged in shipping. See the photo where the box hinge was completely destroyed. The external packaging did not appear damaged and fortunately the box prevented any damage to the earrings. Read more
