I was hesitant about getting this since I already own the powder. My teeth feel smoother with each use, especially on my molars. I realize this has a little Periogen grit so I use this as part of my night regimen. The taste is milder mint flavor than most commercial toothpaste, but it's not offensive. I have had periodontal issues for years and have three transplants. I also have cleanings quarterly. Started taking this stuff and the powder about 8-9 months ago after reading reviews on Amazon and hearing a rave from a friend. I use this in combination with the powder. Really, I cannot tell any difference between this expensive toothpaste and the usual commercial cheaper pastes. I would love to give it a more positive review since this would mean it worked great, but I am experiencing no outstanding or exceptional results from this high-priced toothpaste. I find this brand to work better than those on the market for plaque build-up. I was very skeptical about purchasing this item (since all ads say this product really works....you've heard that before). Well, this one really does seem to work better and it's one I will purchase in the future since I never get a raving dental review. I look forward to getting a better one at my next check-up. I wrote an extremely extensive review on this product that Amazon refused to Post because they claimed that I was talking badly about the seller. This was not true at all, I mentioned nothing about the seller so I find the fact that they did not post my review to be very suspicious. I'm writing another one because I don't want you to spend your hard-earned money on something that will not help you. I don't know where all these good reviews came from but I can tell you that this will be an honest one. The toothpaste literally turns into water. There is no foaming action. You can use as little or as much as you want but it will practically be useless because it dissipates in your mouth on contact with saliva. You will not get a deep clean let alone a regular clean from this toothpaste. It is extremely expensive and you get nothing for your money.
