This SilverMD Ear Wash does have a smell, but I did not find it overpowering. It comes in a very generous 8 oz bottle. The liquid is not thick and sprays in a very fine mist. My cats were actually okay with having this sprayed in their ears, so it was easy for me to use. The cleaning is very gentle, and I needed something a little more potent for my Westie’s stubborn ear junk, but this worked well on my golden, who has his ears cleaned regularly, and my cats. The quality appears to be good. It is vegan, hypoallergenic, paraben free, non toxic, and ideal for daily pet health. I have an 8 year old French Bulldog, Lola and she has very dry ears that seem to collect debris, which makes them even drier and more irritated. So I decided to give silver MD pet ear wash spray for dogs and cats are try, after discussing with Lola’s vet ways to make her ears feel better. The bottle is a nice size bottle. I wasn’t expecting it to be so big given this price point. I like that it came sealed and does have a spray nozzle, which makes application easier I also liked that it’s virtually odorless A lot of ear washes nowadays, have a strong scent or fragrance that really gets annoying after a while of consistently smelling it. I like that the silver MD pet ear cleaner does not have this effect on me or Lola The first couple of nights we used it I did spray it onto a cotton ball just to get her used to a new product. I was really happy with the results after just one use Well, it is a cream and white Frenchie who seems to always have dirty ears. I’m not just talking about what’s going on inside the ear, but her actual ears are dust and dirt collectors So I gently wiped away the inside of her ears(not the ear canal). And I was really surprised at how easy it was to remove the dirty stains from Lola‘s ears with this product. The instructions say you can actually spray this directly into the ear, but I’ve been wanting to get Lola more adjusted to things like that so instead of spraying directly in her ear. I sprayed onto a cotton ball and squeezed the content of the cotton ball into her ear. She did not seem to mind it much and in true Lola fashion, she followed the instructions to a T and Even shook her head gently after putting them Overall, I am very happy with the petemergencyn wash by Silvermed. My dog's ears have been a nightmare for months - constant scratching, that gross yeasty smell, the works. This nano silver spray actually helped where other cleaners didn't. The spray applicator makes it super easy to get into the ear canal without fighting with my dog, and it doesn't seem to sting like some of the medicated stuff the vet gave us. The silver technology apparently helps with bacteria which makes sense why it's working. After about a week of daily use the smell was gone and she stopped shaking her head constantly. It's gentle enough for everyday maintainence too, which is nice because her ears just get gunky if I skip cleaning for too long. When I read the ingredients of this ear wash spray, I was impressed and excited to try it on my cat. His ears get dirty quickly, and I hoped this would make cleaning them easy. Unfortunately, he wanted nothing to do with it. I sprayed some on a tissue to let hi smell it, and he squinted his eyes like the odor was offensive. I tried to spray some in one ear and he took off at a dead run. So for my cat it's a big no. But I know how finicky pets can be, especially cats, so while it didn't work for me, it might be totally fine for other pets. Again, the ingredients are great for cleaning even problem pet ears so don't discount this product based solely on my review.
