I've been a fan of VacLife's handheld vacuums for a while, and this is a sister-brand made by the same company. This product - a rebadge of the VL726 - is their top-end model in this style, and as you'd expect, is the nicest one of the bunch. The build quality is solid - all plastic, but it feels sturdy and everything fits together and comes apart easily. It's a bit heavier than their other models, but still plenty manageable. The suction is great, particularly for a cordless unit - the amount of stuff it picked up on the initial quick pass of my carpeted stairs (my main reason to have a handheld with a brush-head attachment) was alarming, even though I'd vacuumed them with a corded Eureka unit not too long ago. The roller brush/agitator is actively powered (a pair of electrical contacts runs from the main body, through the detachable bin, to the attachment head), so it won't lose spinning force with pressure like those of some other handhelds that are merely powered by suction. One of my favorite things about this line of products is how easy they are to clean, and this one is no exception. The roller pops out, and is made with silicone scrapers instead of bristles, which I personally prefer, as it means hair won't get so embedded and hard to remove. The filters are both washable, and in this model the pre-filter is built into a housing that locks around the main HEPA filter (as opposed to the loose wraps that just slip over them in the lower-end models), which gives an extra degree of both handling convenience and filtering quality. It even comes with a spare HEPA filter. I do miss the unique steel filters that used to come with the older models, but as long as they're rigid and washable I'm happy! Other stray facets I appreciate include the four-bar LED indicator of charge-level for the battery, the built-in lamp for illuminating where you're vacuuming when needed, and the fact that I can use the attachments interchangeably with my older models (aside from the powered brush-head). It's also worth mentioning that customer support from this manufacturer, whether you go with the VacLife or Powools models, is outstanding - they really stand by their products for the long haul. I think it works amazing; I got new couches and just needed a little vacuum to get my husky hair off and it gets it off very well! One of the attachments is good for my bed and the other is good for my couch! The suction power is great, it does sometimes take a couple swipes but that’s okay! It’s small so easy to put in my closet to store! The only thing that is a little rough is the battery life kind of sucks. By the time I’m done vacuuming my two couches it’s dead. This is a powerful handheld vacuum. It comes with several attachments that make any cleanup job quick and easy. I (and my husband) love the rotating beater attachment. My husband has been cleaning everything with this! 😃 I would have bought this way sooner if I’d known he’d be so enthusiastic about cleaning! The vacuum arrived fully charged (thank you). The battery lasts a long time and charges relatively quickly. The suction is powerful even on rugs. It picks up all the small bits of debris quite well. It’s not as loud or noisy as previous vacuums we’ve owned. It also comes with an extra filter. Emptying this is easy. Another nice feature is the flashlight. Just what’s needed for seeing under furniture or in crevices. All in all this is perfectly functional and a great size for storing away. Highly recommend! Read more

Updating my review as I've only had it a short time and it will no longer charge. I keep plugging it into different outlets and it lights up briefly and won't charge. And it does need it a charge, I've used it to the point where the light is on the last one. It's an okay vacuum. Battery life isn't that great and the suction isn't either. I prefer ones that plug in for that reason. But being cordless has it's advantages. You can use it for pretty much anything and not worry about the cord getting in the way or finding a nearby plug. But this is the second time I've bought a handheld vacuum on Amazon and cannot find replacement filters anywhere, not even on the company's website. I'm extremely tired of this.
