I waited to provide a review to make sure I wasn't being premature. One (or both) of our cats peed on our closet carpet. We tried all types of various "pet odor / enzyme removing" sprays and applications. We tried our carpet cleaner - every time the odor removal was temporary. Our cats haven't been allowed in that area since it happened and yet the smell would come back! I am a fan of other Active products so we gave this a go. It has been months and no smell has returned. This saved us from ripping up the carpet. The cleaning power, plus value for money are just some of the reasons I would recommend this product to pet owners. Awesome!! Bought it for those little drops on the carpet from my bunnies and I spray it on and it disappears! Smell too! It’s great! Used it on some old spots on the carpet from the cats and that cleaned it right up! Will definitely keep buying! Read more

It works better than anything else I've found for getting cat urine smell off hard surfaces like plastic and hardwood floors, but I would definitely wash it off with soap after the enzyme has had a chance to work for a while. It leaves a noticeable oil sheen so I wouldn't dare try it on carpet or upholstery unless I was planning to shampoo them afterwards. I assume this sheen is due to the inclusion of citrus oils which are supposedly toxic to cats, so for both reasons I wish they'd just leave out the citrus oil (or any fragrance oils for that matter) in future versions of this product. We love pups, and provided they get along, often times our friends will bring theirs over for a visit. Unfortunately, we have a couple that always seem to pee when nobody is watching. There are a lot of products on the market that “claim” they have the best products for the after affect of this problem. Many “claim” theirs is the BEST @ removing urine stains, and the smell…….which you may THINK is gone, until another pup is in the same area, much later, and they sniff and know EXACTLY where the previous pup urinated! That WAS ALWAYS the case BEFORE we bought this product, however now, NO STAIN, AND NO SMELL!!! This product works excellent on carpet, and now you no longer need to throw out and Mats…..simply read the directions, as you should on every product, and then use it, and the next time my friends brought their pups over, they smelt nothing, and best of all, THEY DID NOT MARK!!!! At first the odor was fresh and citrusy when I sprayed it on my dogs bed to test for how well it would neutralize a light Dog sent. When we went to bed last night, the bed smelled like a commercial cleaner and left a film on the fabric. I set up a bed made a blanket for my dog last night and had to wash the dog bed first thing this morning. Read more
