This is just the perfect little tool for keeping my dogs' faces clean. If you have a dog with long facial hair (I'm using this on my Standard Poodle puppy), you know how tricky those eye boogers can be. My routine is to hold a warm, wet cloth over the gunk for a moment to soften it up, and then this comb gently pulls it right out of the fur. It works great after a bath, too. I used to use a traditional flea comb for this, but I always got nervous about the sharp corners near their eyes. This one has rounded edges, so I feel much more secure using it and don't worry about accidentally poking my pup. I definitely recommend this one.
