I bought this toy for my mom's dog after having bought three similar toys almost ten years ago for my dogs, which are still bouncing around my house today. What is most impressive about these toys is how well they've held up. While I'm sure a hard core chewer could still destroy these, they are amazingly durable. They have held up better than any other dog toy I've bought for my puppies. My dogs also love the squeaky sound they make, so they actually play with them. Moreover, you can use the noise to get your dog's attention, which helps with training. Lastly, since they are soft and bouncy, these little toys won't do a lot of damage when your dog plays with them, which is not true of all dog toys. If you are looking for a great dog toy, I highly recommend you give these a try. They've been a great investment for my dogs. Read more
This toy could easily be destroyed by any dog; HOWEVER, my 83 lb rottie (who tears through his toys within minutes) has not left a single puncture on this duck. He's had it for almost a week now. He LOVES this thing, carries it around, tosses it in the air. He also brings it onto the balcony with him when he watches the real ducks in the lake behind our home. He is obsessed with ducks, which was why I wanted to get him a duck toy in the first place. I took a chance on this soft toy, assuming he might be sweet to it, and it worked out. I would buy more of these just to keep as backup if he happens to lose it. Read more

This duck is surprisingly durable. The one in the right was a gift for my puppy 14 years ago. It was his FAVORITE toy. He used to take it to bed every night. It now sits on top of his urn. I have purchased 2 more since then. 1 was donated after my other dog passed away. The one on the right was recently purchased for my current puppy. He loves it so much. My dog is obsessed with this toy! He immediately destroyed the squeaker (thank goodness!) but other than that, it has held up very, very well. He is a Pekingese (about 15lbs). But, he chews on this thing A LOT and is quite rough with it. No rips tears or anything. The material is very sturdy and the toy is well made.
