Air conditioner works well cooling and freshening my bedroom. it cools the whole room down in just a matter of minutes. When the air conditioner is turned on. It does create noise.there is not too much vibration noise, but you can still hear that .if you focus on it .honestly most of the noise i have gotten used to. I was able to sleep through the noise. It's nice and sleek looking, on wheels, has a remote, really easy install, gives good cold air! Being 10,000 btu I thought it would get a little colder; with that said it is perfect for my small bedroom and has completely saved my sleep and comfort here in Northern CA. One thing I will say against the window slat, is that I wish there was some sort of foam, plastic, cloth, or something to help keep the hot air out and bugs. For the meantime I stuff plastic bags in the cracks filling the space, not ideal, but helps some. Read more

The media could not be loaded. Arrived early, placed on the 24th arrived on the 27th. This is portable air conditioner is perfect for our summer home that does not have an ac system. It has wheels which make it easy to move around for the perfect cooling down. I appreciate the remote control with the timer great for a cool nights rest and off by the mornings sun. Less than 10 minutes to set up and reach the maximum cool setting. There are multiple functions including two speeds, 3 fan-modes, sleep, timer, and lock options which make it easy to use. Very smooth and clean looking white appliance with a smooth black top finish. Easy to wipe clean/wipe down. Not very noisy, and great value for what we paid. Read more

I ordered a PETSITE air conditioner but the name on the actual a/c unit says "Costway". The instructions are horrible.... at least for draining. It has TWO drainholes. Photo in the owners manual has a hose hooked to the drain at the CENTER of the machine (from top to bottom) but nothing comes out. Am I supposed to drain it from the little hole that is only a half inch off the floor? How do I get a bucket under that???? I can't even unplug it without water going everywhere.... it's too close to the ground to get anything under it.... NO VIDEOS for instruction available on line... AND you can't even contact PETSITE for support....says Amazon support is available. Problem with that is, I seriously doubt anyone at Amazon support will find any more info (or, in this case, lack thereof) on how to drain this stupid thing. There is no notification (yet???) of the water pan needing drainage but the a/c won't start so I assume that's the problem. I don't know what this "notification" would look like.... also not in the manual. It works well to cool, makes fan noise on high but if you can't drain it, you can't us the a/c part of it. The unit is good, it is a costway and I ordered it bc my cousin has one. I must have ordered a different model by costway with the 10,000 BTU though bc it doesn't blow as good as his and his is only the 8,000 BTU. I have them both set up and for sure his blows better. I also noticed this one I ordered has a plastic piece in the front on the whole left side behind the vent and maybe it's blocking half the air flow, but it's how it's made with that piece and his costway unit doesn't have that. So I have mixed reviews about it, but it will cool down a room. Read more
