The media could not be loaded. This lil beastie works great! I was pretty skeptical about ordering a portable AC unit. Everything else I've tried hasn't actually cooled... just pushed the hot air around. This was pretty easy to set up. Started cooling my room (15X15) down drastically within about 15 minutes! The unit was reasonably priced (but delivery was pricey...$60 for my area). The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because I think a roll of weather stripping should be included since the window adapter leaves gaps (I am temporarily using duct tape) and it needs a longer cord (your not supposed to use extention cords for safety reasons). The unit (like all others) requires draining so I'll update my review later if I run into any issues. I don't love having a giant vent hose in my room... but it sure beats the heat I've been dealing with! Utah has some really HOT summers! Wish I would have bought this 10 years ago! Read more

I've used a few types of portable AC units over the years and this one has the fewest bells and whistles of any of them, but it has also been, by far, the lowest price. It does its main job very well: it keeps a room cool. It also has a remote which makes it great for a bedroom, which is what I bought it for. There are AC units out there with more features, but for the price, this one is pretty hard to beat. Read more

The product function barely okay at first. Seemed to cool somewhat poorly given the small space it was in, would shut off randomly, and make loud intermittent clicking sounds. It did the job and was relatively cheap. The "water full" indicator light never came on all summer. I went to drain it before storing it for the year and barely any water came out of the drain plug or hose plug. I tilted it to see if more water came out, and it began leaking water from the intake coils, exhaust hose hookup, and from the seams in the plates. The water that was collected (pictured) was visible brown and had flakes of rust in it. I contacted the seller, will potentially change the review if the resolution is acceptable. Read more

We had to do some extra things to completely seal the window (minor). The product is loud when running, and I don’t have an issue with background noise. However this was a little too loud. Read more

This unit does a surprisingly good job of cooling down a large room. It's not quite as loud as a window ac. I would give it 5 stars, but the directions were terrible. Read more
