This review is going to be a bit daunting. Out the gate when you first receive these meters they tend to get the job done. Reads the pH well, gives accurate PPMs, etc. All is well up until the first battery swap That's when things get bad. You can no longer calibrate the meter with the pH solution provided, which makes the product utterly useless. I bought another one of these and within first use out the box, the diode completely shattered on me when simply trying to clean it off with a wet paper towel I've purchased about 4-5 of these and I'm pretty much convinced at this point that they're not reliable after some wear and tear. I have an older Vivosun meter that's been sitting dormant in its packaging for well up to a year now, and is still more calibrated than this meter is after a week of solid usage. It's time to move on. There are much better, longer lasting options than this meter :-( Read more

Used this to test our new ro system. Numbers seem accurate from test strips and prove the ro does reduce tds as well as reminerilizer adding a bit back in. The odd part is that the ph stayed pretty much the same witha nd without ro filtration. Easy to use, fast reading, and seems to be of decent quality for its price. The display is easy to read and resists water as long as you do not submerse past reading area. Read more

Purchased this PH meter to see how it would work with my well water but more importantly the hot tub water to determine how it works for adding Ph increase or decrease chemical to it to keep it its in best neutral state. It worked very well and compared almost exactly as the litmus paper that comes with the hot tub. It also helps me feel comfortable about our drinking water.
