These are cute glasses with a lovely shape. The wider bottom, along with being both lightweight and sturdy, makes them feel great to hold. They are well-made (no flaws), and the packaging kept them secure in transit. I would not be able to stick my hand all the way down in them to clean them, but they survived in my dishwasher and I could use a sponge/wand to hand-wash them. These are shaping up to be "best glasses ever" for our kitchen! Their size is perfect for any and all drinks, not just "spirits." We also use them for iced coffee, soda, milk, water and juice. The bottom-heavy shape is both sexy and secure on tables and in my hand, while the height is perfect for glass straws. The glasses also look lovely stored in our glass-door cabinet, like shiny little soldiers saluting in formation. I would characterize the glass as slightly thin, but so far very durable as they do laps between our fireclay sink and the dishwasher.
