I wished I would have bought this sooner. Both of my dogs are like a poodle mix breed with high maintenance fur coats, both white. My 2 yr old loves to ball, it’s dry here right now, and she kicks up a lot of dust. She always has goop in the corner of her eyes and tear stains. My senior dog is 12 and this past year she gotten a lot of crust in the corner of her eyes. You clean it and it’s back that day, definitely by the next day. I used this one time and my senior dog has not had the crust in her eyes. I thought my dogs would fight me when I applied it, but they actually took it well. I don’t use it everyday, but I’ve noticed big improvements with the tear staining and the junk in their eyes. I never would have thought some eye drops would have a major effect. I, now, think that my senior dogs eyes must have been dry leading to them to water more and forming that crust around the eyes. It has a big long tip that makes it perfect for applying it to the eye. Received for Vine review. 4 Star because time will tell and my girl didn't complain. At this point I can't gauge eye irritation relief. However after 3 days use, she didn't complain once and her eye production has decreased. My 65lb girl has allergies and seldom paws at her eyes, but usually paws her nose when bothered. She produces eye goo daily. Her first application of drops on day 1 she did not complain and was eager for an after "medicine" treat. She isn't mopey about it and forgot about the indignity of it all in seconds. ;) This is a good sign. I really don't have an opinion on price or effectiveness at this point. $9 listed on Amazon. If it works and doesn't require multiple applications a day... *shrug* Read more

This is an all natural product. My dog who is a Rhodesian ridgeback and German Shepherd mix has problem with itchy, goopy eyes and allergies. I give her daily allergy medication. However, her eyes still get goopy and icky. This product seems to work incredibly well. As soon as I put in two or three drops, her eyes are cleaned out and clear and she seems very comfortable. You can apply it directly or apply on a cotton ball and swipe the edge of the eyelid to clean out the dogs eyes. This is a large bottle and so I’m thinking it’s going to last quite a long time. And it makes it very affordable, more affordable than the allergy medication eye drops over-the-counter which the vet recommended. It comes with a nice strong tip and you don’t have to apply much pressure before the fluid drops out; works really well as far as the style of bottle. Because it’s a large bottle it’s easy to hold in one’s hands, especially if you have finger or joint issues. Technique: if you have never put eye drops in a dog before be sure you have treats handy and make your dog sit and then come in from the back. Hold the bottle behind their head and apply it that way, up and over from behind. Nobody wants to see a large object moving towards their eyes, especially dogs - it kind of freaks them out. I was provided this product via the Amazon vine review program. Read more

This is my first time using eye drops created for dogs and cats on my pets. I always used warm water on a soft towel to remove their eye crusties and wait for it to soften to wipe it clean. I struggled for years with them losing patience and running away or not staying still long enough for me to finish. These eyedrops are worth getting and you can actually finish the job. I put enough drops on a cotton pad to get it slightly damp and followed the instructions to go from the outside to the inner corners of the eyelid. It wipes away clean and with little effort or having to let it soak to loosen up the eye crusties. After cleaning round the eyes I add 2 drops into each eye. My elderly dog actually stayed still through the whole process which was nice for a change. You get your money's worth of eye drops. The bottle is doesn't leak and durable. It comes sealed and has a screw on cap to protect it from dirt. If you have a pet that won't stay still to clean their eyes this is definitely looking into. Read more

This actually works good for getting the dirty goop away from the white fur. It's harder to tell for the eye that had black fur instead of partially white fur. This kitty doesn't like to be held & when I go to pet her I always have to be at least have an arm away, unless she wants a treat. The first 2 images she was being shy, but finely got a good shot with the 3rd image, then after I caught her long enough to wipe away the dark areas using a soft cotton towel, she hid where it was harder to reach her, but at least you can tell her eyes around the fur look cleaner. The eye drops are easy to use without scents, doesn’t seem to irritate my dog’s eyes, it helps to clean the gunk around her eyes and provide some reliefs. It’s a convenient and quick way of clearing the tear buildup. The applicator has no leaks and seals well. Read more

Was hoping for relief for my Poodles red eye but can't tell any difference in the redness. He has eye drainage and redness daily. After a few weeks of daily use 3 times a day I do not see improvement. Read more

Both of our dogs have irritated eyes from time to time, particularly in the fall. We've tried more expensive, vet-recommended drops, and these seem to do as well as any of them. The two fluid ounces is quite a value for the money and less than half of what I've paid for similar drops. After a day of use, their eyes were noticeably less red. I have also noticed less watering after one day. I can easily recommend this. If Diggory and Ginny, our dogs, could speak, they probably would too. Read more
