I waited some time to make this review to see how I really felt about this Coffee maker. We have bought a few coffee makers in the past and are daily coffee drinkers. This one appealed to us because of the ease of using it and it did not disappoint. It’s is easy to use by selecting your coffee and pushing the go button. The quality of the coffee is always smooth, however, it does produce smaller amounts of coffee, so if you are looking for bigger glasses like a venti size you might need to make multiple cups. It isn’t bulky like other coffee machines, which is ideal for us since we have a small space for our coffee station, it also helps with keeping things neat. It does all of the prep work ie. the coffee grinding and packing and clean up is a breeze. After having this for a year the only issue I have is it will sometimes think the grounds trap is full, but that is an easy fix, just unplug and plug it back in and it is pretty loud. Over all great value for the price. I have recommended to multiple people who I know have bought and loved the machine as well. Read more

We were looking for a coffee machine to replace our k-cup brewer and wanted an affordable bean to cup. What attracted me to this unit was the milk frother function and the idea of eliminating our k-cup trash. I had a nozzle type before and it was more trouble than it was worth. I've only had this for a week but I'm enjoying the easy brewing function especially the frother. We have three coffee drinkers in the house, each with a different drink preference so this model has been great for us. The quick start was not so quick for me, but after watching a couple of you tube videos it was pretty easy to set up and make each drink type. I love the customization of bean strength, cup size, and froth. Yes there is water in the drip tray following a brew cycle, that's what it's for. No the milk didn't splash all over, just into the cup and if there is leftover milk I leave it in the container and put it in the fridge. I appreciate other reviewers comments about mold. I've only had it for a week but I will pay attention to this. So far everything has been good, but again it's only been a week. I would recommend this machine for its ease of use, drink variety, and price point. if anyone has an idea about an appliance slider I would love to hear a recommendation. I haven't been able to find anything that is deep enough. Read more

Breaks, and flawed engineering. I like the idea -- steamed milk, espresso, whole beans are all good. Made decent coffee for a while, and I get to pick my own beans. But then various stuff went wrong. Recently, steam coming out wrong and making a strange noise during espresso cycle, apparently the solenoid has a leak. OK, I kept using it for espresso only and not steamed milk because it still functions and I can microwave my milk. Just now, no beans get ground up, even though the grinder makes noise, so now it only outputs clear water, not espresso. After troubleshooting, apparently there is blockage in the path between the grinder and the brew group, and taking off the bur cover would let me access the path with the blockage. But I cannot remove the one screw that holds the bur cover. The screw is recessed way deep - seems ridiculous to me. I got the other screws off to open the cover no problem. The last one maybe is stripped or something, but I cannot even see it way down in its tunnel. I was willing to break the cover just to see the blockage and out of curiosity now that this is probably garbage, but I'll need to think about how to use a crowbar to get the thing off - it will not come off. Who engineered the recessed screw? Crazy. And even if I do get access to the area, who knows whether that is actually the problem, and if so, why would I think that is the last problem.? I'll guess that a 3rd thing will break soon too, if I manage to fix the first. Maybe repair and replacement parts could work ... but I want a working product, not a part-time job fixing a coffee machine. Read more
