Excellent Electric Toothbrush — Simple, Effective, and Reliable

Xiaoyan zhangSeptember 21, 2025

This toothbrush delivers exactly what I was hoping for — powerful cleaning without unnecessary features. It’s easy to use, with a sleek and lightweight design that feels good in the hand. The vibrations are strong enough to give that dentist-clean feeling, and the built-in timer helps ensure a full, even brushing every time. The charging base is compact, and the battery lasts a long time between charges. I also appreciate how quiet it is during use. Replacement heads are simple to swap out, and everything about it just feels well-made. Overall, it’s a solid electric toothbrush that does its job really well — no complaints at all. Highly recommend to anyone switching from manual brushing or looking for a dependable upgrade. Read more

Excellent brand and cost. Efficient

LizSeptember 24, 2024

I had an older version with the prong plug that no longer worked properly. I got the second least expensive Sonicare and it is perfect. It charged quickly and is small and comfortable. The brush is easy to put on and remove. The base is small so be careful it doesn't tip over. I read all of the directions; it is easy to use. Be aware that it shuts off after two minutes so you need to be sure to not linger in one area. My teeth felt very clean afterwards unlike when using a manual toothbrush. I had my teeth cleaned recently and my dental higentist said to replace the Sonicare that I threw away. I highly recommend this low cost basic Sonicare 2100 model. Read more

A really good and pretty inexpensive electric toothbrush

Max RemleyDecember 20, 2025

A really good and pretty inexpensive electric toothbrush. The battery recharges quickly and the charge lasts a long time. There is a "2 speed" capability that I wish I could disable (the reason for only 4 stars). Push the button once for one speed, and again within 2 seconds for the other speed. I want the stronger speed always but there is no way to "lock" it to that speed. Therefore, I have to be careful to not hit the button the second time within the 2 second window. I often do this when cleaning/drying the brush to put it way. Other than that, a great toothbrush at an exceptionally good price. Read more

Great value

Melissa BarkerJuly 19, 2022

I've had a Philips Sonicare for years. It was just getting old and gross and hard to find the right brush head for that model. Instead of getting the latest model, I got an older one which is still newer than mine and I'm glad now about that decision. This toothbrush is so much smaller and diameter and easier to hold in my hand. Also lighter weight than my older one. The charge lasts a long time as well, probably a couple weeks. I love the little beep to remind me when to change sides when brushing. The Snap-on head is much better than my older model that had the Twist on head and allowed gunk to collect inside. This one stays nice and clean. I still wipe it clean after every use just to keep it that way. The cost of this if I remember correctly was only about $35. It does the job perfectly so I'm glad I didn't spend $100 like some of the others cost. Very happy with my purchase. Read more

Great Electric Toothbrush

CateSeptember 1, 2025

Great electric toothbrush! Love the neutral white color and it holds a charge for weeks. Teeth and gums feel very clean after each use. Easy to hold and maneuver and I like the fact that it lets me know if I am pressing too hard. Very pleased with this purchase. Read more

Each of these lasts about three to four months! Planned obsolescence.

BretJuly 17, 2024

I thought I'd come by and warn folks about these electric toothbrushes. See, Sonicare is a very famous brand of dental hygiene products, and the technology used here is proven to be very effective. Rapid gentle motion of a set of soft fibers-- you know. We all get it. So I've been using Philips Sonicare for many years, and I'm certain that my oral health has benefitted from that. The trouble is, Philips can't build one of these that lasts more than half a year. I keep having to replace the units because the power switch fails. One after another. The last purchase was 10 April. That's right-- just over three months ago. The rubbery membrane covering the power switch has cracked open and water has leaked into the switch, and the switch has failed. It either won't come on, or if it does finally come on, I can't then turn it off. Can you imagine? In the year 2024? Philips can't design and manufacture a power switch on a toothbrush that lasts more than a few months? Well, of course I know the answer. It's supposed to fail, and I know it. It's planned obsolescence, and I know it. I wanted to let you all know. These are very worthwhile products from the perspective of one's oral health. But the company is ripping you off intentionally. I'm at this moment going to another brand and I will not buy a Philips product of any kind again. It's a matter of principle to me. I won't. I refuse to bow down to these greedy and wasteful and arrogant corporations who try to manipulate me into more sales by intentionally manufacturing failure into their products. They are intentionally trying to arrange for us to develop habitual purchasing of their products, in repetitive cycles, again and again, and they're attempting to teach us to accept miserable quality as inevitable and only customary. I realize that this has become par for the course, and to many people it doesn't matter-- they're not bothered by constantly buying a new item, over and over and over again. I really don't care. I'm a discriminating and conscientious and logical person, and I refuse to participate in this kind of idiocy. Read more
