I bought almost this exact same toothbrush years ago from my dentist for well over $100 and I loved it. In one of our moves, I lost the charging base and was really disappointed but had never replaced it. When I saw this Sonicare at this price, I jumped on it and ordered it. I’m so happy I did! I still had the toothbrush handle from years ago and they are almost identical. This has great features like the 30 second beeper telling you when to move to another area and the 2 minute auto shut-off which are what’s most important to me personally. It comes with one toothbrush head with soft bristles and is a perfect size for me. I definitely recommend getting this toothbrush because at this price it’s a steal! ******I am updating my review nine months after my last review!! I noticed some complained about the brush head size, density and other items. I just wanted to give my thoughts because I’d hate for anyone to pass this up based on those reasons alone. ( I promise I don’t work for Sonicare, lol) I agree the brush head it comes with is extremely small and is soft bristled. This was okay for me as I have sensitive teeth but I totally understand where others would want a stiffer, larger brush. The pole the head sits on is definitely at an odd angle compared to the Sonicare I had before as it’s angled somewhat forward. However, I can honestly say that I have purchased Sonicare and generic replacement heads for this and they’ve all fit just fine. This also addressed the issue of the brush size because the replacements were larger. The other item I wanted to give an update on was the battery life. I always leave it plugged in so I never noticed how long it lasted until recently. (And I certainly didn’t travel this year!!) The outlet fuse where I keep my toothbrush had flipped and I forgot to tell my husband because we were so busy. This was over three weeks ago and my toothbrush just quit this morning after using it for two minutes every morning and night!! I still consider this a great purchase and highly recommend!! **** 1/11/2021 Read more

Much better than a regular toothbrush. The toothbrush bristles are very very small and with my automatic toothpaste dispenser it’s kind of hard to aim the toothpaste onto the very narrow toothbrush head but it works great and is far superior compared to a regular toothbrush my teeth feel much cleaner for much longer and I expect this to last much longer. I wish the base actually attached it seems line it would be very easy to knock this over so I actually used Velcro to eliminate this problem. Overall for the price I highly recommend this but if you have the money I would consider looking at a better model with more efficient features otherwise this is very good for what it is! Read more

This is a decent toothbrush as long as you are realistic in your expectations. First, it doesn't move in a 'brushing' motion, it's more of a vibration. Combined with the slight brushing motion that I use, it leaves my teeth feeling clean and 'refreshed'. The unit and charging base are compact so don't use much counter space, and look 'stylish'. I have found that the battery life is not what they claim, at least not for my unit. Using the unit twice a day, I can get through a week before it starts to nag me about needing a charge. When the battery is low the brush will give three short buzzes after brushing to let you know it needs to be charged, which is a nice feature. One drawback is that there is no charging indicator to let you know when the battery is full. If you purchase replacement brush heads from Philips they are expensive, but you can find generic heads much cheaper on Amazon. I purchased this for less than $20 and I'm satisfied, but probably wouldn't have been if I had paid much more. Read more

I feel I get my money's worth with this electric toothbrush. I know from previous reviews some complain it is not full size toothbrush but honestly I think it not to suppose to be. When you go to Dentist for teeth cleaning the brush head is petite because it has to effectively go in all small areas of your teeth and brush each tooth precise. The smaller head toothbrush allows me more room to angle and get to areas the standard hand brush could not get to. The pressure sensitive feature of the toothbrush really works get for me and there are instructions included to set your toothbrush setting to gradually get use to the cleaning sensation if you do have sensitive teeth. There is a lot I like including long battery life and the charging stand. My teeth look and feel great since using it. Good buy for me. Read more

This toothbrush is a gift for my spouse, because he loves mine, and we had been just buying our own brush heads and using the same base. It works out fine, but with how affordable this set is, he's getting his own!! No more switching out! What we love is: the extremely clean feeling, ease of use, and long battery life. Even with long road trips, there is never a problem just bringing the fully charged brush and leaving the charger at home. We also use less toothpaste because it goes a lot further with the sonicare. Been using this one for 12 months. It's a sonicare, it works almost as well as the other (more expensive) sonicares - and is much better than the (ultra-cheap) "sonicare" branded vibrating toothbrush (the discontinued one with replaceable batteries). It doesn't seem to have degraded after a year of use (though I keep mine fully charged). You have to remember to pop the toothbrush off and clean out the gunk buildup underneath - otherwise it's easy to keep clean. There's tons of compatible (OEM and knock off) toothbrush heads available. UPDATE: 4 years in, it's still going strong. Might be seeing some battery degradation - it doesn't seem to blast the crap off as efficiently now - but maybe that's just different toothbrush heads or toothpaste (or older teeth). Read more
