After 14 years with my Oral‑B Pro 100, I decided to switch to the Philips Sonicare 4100 Rechargeable Electric Toothbrush (Model HX3681/24) when my old brush finally gave out. I’m glad I did—the Sonicare makes the surface of my teeth feel noticeably smoother and cleaner than my Oral‑B ever did. The sensation was a little strange at first, but I appreciate that the intensity gradually increases over time, which helped me adjust quickly. I also love the SmarTimer and QuadPacer features. Both brushes had 2‑minute timers, but Sonicare’s 30‑second intervals ensure I give equal attention to every section of my mouth. With my Oral‑B, I tended to spend more time on certain areas, so this is a big improvement. The lithium battery is another plus—I don’t have to swap it out nearly as often as I did with my old brush. Time will tell if it lasts as long as my Oral‑B did, but so far, I’m very impressed. Overall, this toothbrush is sleek, effective, and thoughtfully designed. Highly recommend! Read more

Quality made product that works very well. Brushes my teeth well, dental hygeniest is happy with my tooth and gum health. Product is easy to use and a single charge last a really long time, using it 2x a day. Travel case for heads is nice but I use a regular toothbrush when away from the house unless overnight. I will never return to a regular toothbrush again. This electric toothbrush works wonders at removing plaque, and takes so much less effort compared to a regular toothbrush. It is very comfortable, and it has a small but powerful brush head. I charged it once and used it twice per day for three weeks before I had to charge it again. I love it so much and highly recommend! The pink one is so cute! Read more

I've had my first Sonicare for 9 1/2 years, and while it still works, the battery light never reaches full any more, and this is the first time I've seen them on sale, so I went for this one. I paid around $30 instead of $50 on Black Friday sale. They say they don't give you a wall plug for sustainability, which is clearly a falsehood. If they cared about sustainability, I'd be able to use my perfectly good previous wall charger. Do they honestly think we want to charge our toothbrushes from our laptops? It's ludicrous. I found a link on their website where you can request a wall charger brick. In the mean time, I'm using one I already had. Who knows if it's appropriate. I should have just stuck with my old charger. One star off for this. The toothbrush itself is fine. I picked this one because I don't think they need more than one button. It has all the features I need: timer and high or low intensity. Also the pressure sensor is a nice touch. It's thinner to hold and makes a lot less noise. I like the change for that reason alone. All my variety of Sonicare and non-Sonicare brush heads work. So far so good. We'll see if this one lasts 9 1/2 years, though. Read more

This toothbrush?? A POWER TOOL. The first time I used it, my mouth was like, “Wow okay, we’re doing professional-level cleaning at home now.” First Impressions Lightweight, sleek, simple — not one of those overly complicated toothbrushes with 47 modes you’ll never use. Just one button. One mission. Make your teeth SHINE. Using It The vibration?? STRONG. Like “I didn’t know my teeth could feel THIS clean” strong. My gums were like: “Ma’am… what is this level of attention??” After the first brush: • My teeth felt smooth • My breath felt fresher • My mouth felt like it had a college degree It has a built-in timer so you stop rushing and actually brush for the dentist-recommended two minutes instead of your usual 17 seconds. Why It SLAPS • Cleans between teeth like it’s trying to expose secrets • Removes plaque like it owes you money • Still gentle on gums • Quiet enough that I don’t sound like I’m starting a lawn mower at 7AM And the vibration pattern is chef’s kiss. It pauses every 30 seconds to tell you to move to the next quadrant — which is helpful because I absolutely forget how time works. Pros • SUPER clean feeling • Easy to charge • Lightweight • Great battery life • Doesn’t have unnecessary features • Dentist-level clean at home Cons • The first time you use it, your brain might rattle slightly (you adjust fast) • It will absolutely expose how badly you used to brush Final Verdict If you want clean, smooth, dentist-approved teeth without paying $150+ for a fancy model — get this. Affordable, powerful, simple, and effective. My mouth has never felt cleaner and my dentist is going to think I got my life together. Read more
