I have trouble flossing with a traditional string, and little floss picks weren't doing their job well. So, my dentist suggested I get a water flosser. And I'm happy to say that it's been working well for several months! The dentist has noticed a marked improvement, and I'm no longer left with bleeding gums after an appointment. The shape of the reservoir makes it easy to clean out, though getting water out of it entirely is tricky. The current is strong, especially when fully charged, and I can get by charging it once a week even though I floss three times a day. Overall, I'm happy I got it. Read more

I've had this a month now and I like it. It's easy to use, and even on medium it's strong enough for me. It seems to clean my teeth a lot better than the previous flosser I owned, which was not Phillips. I'm pleased it came with its own adaptor, too. I'm buying a second one for my spouse. Read more

Works great! I love that you can change the intensity of the jet and I like the fact that it’s not just one thin stream. It’s easy to fill and easy to use. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that I would like to have a tongue cleaner option with it. Otherwise, seems perfect to me. Read more

I have close teeth at the top and wider opening towards the gumline. I am always carrying tooth picks or dental floss! This leaves my teeth and gums feeling refreshed and clean! Without the pain. Excellent product for excellent price! Water doesn’t leak out, comfortable in my grip and is powerful yet gentle enough to get between my teeth. I don’t find it to be noisy, you can hear it but it’s not loud. Read more

My dentist recommended getting a waterpik for cleaning my gums; I saw this one and thought it might be more effective at that job. It's not. It has a poor design, especially for the price, and it's a genuine pain in the neck to use. First, the water reservoir doesn't hold enough water to actually get through a complete cleaning (unless you're missing a lot of teeth). You'll be refilling it at least once during a cleaning, which means you have to turn it off, unhook the reservoir, fill it, and resume. Second, it's incredibly messy; when you turn it on you expect water to shoot out of the cleaning head (naturally), but it also shoots out of a hole in the back of the unit, spraying your hand, the wall, or whatever else gets in the way. I've learned to position a finger over the hole so that most of the water doesn't escape, but there doesn't seem to be a way to stop the leaks. I'm not sure why it's dong this, but it's aggravating. Third, the stream of water really isn't strong enough to do much flossing, possibly because half of it is flowing out the back of the unit and reducing the water pressure. Even the "deep clean" setting is too weak. Fourth, the unit is thick and a little heavy, not a great idea for smaller hands, and the position of the controls on the handle make it difficult to actually see the settings when you're trying to use it. You're supposed to start it up with the nozzle facing the sink, then apply it to your mouth, which guarantees spraying water over something. I've learned to start with the nozzle in my mouth to keep things neat. Fifth, it comes with two different cleaning heads, and neither one really seems to do a great job. You're supposed to store the other head inside the reservoir--there's a little hole where it fits--but the slightest bump dislodges it so it sinks to the bottom of the reservoir. Sixth, it isn't quiet at all--I have a Sonicare electric toothbrush that's been criticized in reviews for being too noisy, and this thing is at least twice as loud. Seventh, it doesn't come with any kind of a charging stand, but instead requires that you pull up a rubber cover and insert the specialized charging cable into the device. I really can't recommend it. If you need a water-streaming device to clean your gums, look elsewhere. Read more

My dentist recommended this exact one because I have a food trap that flossing does not clean well. This is easy to use and the results are very evident. Never knew I was missing that much. Highly recomment it, Read more

Love my power flosser. Took a little while to keep from getting water everywhere, so it is much easier to use in the shower. Tank is big enough to get my whole mouth done. I put a capful of mouthwash in the tank. Cleans my permanent lower retainer without having to use a floss threader saving time and money. Read more
