The base of this phone holder that attaches to the car vent is adjustable to grip the vent securely. I have previously seen holders that use a spring to hold onto the vent, but this seems like a much better design. Once it's tightened on the vent, it's not going anywhere. The phone holder itself has silicone on all gripping surfaces to protect your phone, and grips the phone well once squeezed against it. I ordered this to go on top of my aftermarket head unit. My eyes are bad so my 4 inch screen wasn’t cutting it. The head unit that I have is a JVC 12.1 inch screen. I knew this was gonna be a little big for mine, but I also need to be able to go over my gear shifter, which is on the column of my truck. This works out perfect. I have that extra 2 inches to the left so it’s not in the way of me reaching for my gear shifter. It was super easy to install on the head unit. All I had to do was peel the tape and put the mount rack onto my head unit and then attach the mounting charger to that. It’s very easy to install and it’s very easy to use. The phone holder with the MagSafe feature holds my iPhone 16 Pro Max perfectly. I have nothing negative to say about the use or flexibility of this product. Read more

I put this SKYLOTEC magnetic phone mount in my Tundra and it blends into the dash better than I expected. It sits in a natural spot by the screen and vents and doesn’t look like an accessory hanging off the truck. After a day or two, it just feels like it belongs there. The magnet holds my phone without drama, even on rough roads, and grabbing it with one hand is easy. Charging works fine and the angle is quick to tweak when needed. Very pleased with this car phone holder. I had a clamp on phone holder before and was never able to find a good place to clip it in my interior that would hold securely. This phone holder has a solid clamp on the vent and also keeps it lower so it doesn't block my view out the window at all. The piece that clips onto the vent crews the latch in/out, so once it is locked onto the vent it stays secure and doesn't wobble. The ball-mount for the phone holder allows you to change the angle so the phone can face you, but once tightened up stays put. There is some nice rubber padding around the phone mount that holds the phone in place but also cushions it a bit to prevent scratches. The side arms extend out about an inch to either side of my iPhone so it seems that it could fit an even larger phone if needed. My only complaint is that the side arms are slow to extend out when you press the release button. I would not recommend this for any sort of off-roading or rough driving since its clipped to an air vent which isn't made for supporting the weight of anything, however, for day to day driving this has worked perfectly and stayed secure. Edit: Disregard below complaints regarding fitment - I did not realize that the hook was adjustable and the box didnt mention that at all. changed stars from 1 to 4. Mount fits well enough and is adjustable. This mount did not fit my air vents on a 2012 Chevy. Despite the pictures on the box showing what types of air vents the clip on the mount would fit and my air vent type being one of them - it did not fit. The little clip that the mount has needs to be a few cm longer to attach to a blade in the vent. So I was not able to properly test this mount. Beware. Read more
