I purchased this car cup holder expander for my husband and he really likes it. The build feels solid and well-made, and the rubber grip gives a secure feel without damaging the cupholder. The adjustable design is a big plus since it fits nicely and feels stable once placed. It holds larger drinks and mugs comfortably, and the phone holder is very convenient for hands-free use while driving. He especially likes how versatile it is for everyday commuting and longer drives. So far, it looks like a very practical and useful car accessory. Read more

It’s good. It works. Fits my Klean Kanteen big bottles. Using it in my 2011 Escalade which has the shifter by the steering wheel and makes it impossible to attach a vent clip in any place that makes sense while driving. You just really need to tighten the base TIGHT and it will not come out as you pull your bottle out. I sort of wish the phone holder arm was slightly longer and it could go higher because it feels a bit low in my car and the water bottle kind of butts up against the bottom of the phone holder. Anyway, great option for my car so I’m happy. Just used it for a road trip it didn’t pop out once and neither did our phones fall out. Read more

This didn't work out for me at all, in a 1999 GMC Safari, in the front cup holders. And the problem was not the fact that the cup holders in the Safari have that gap for a mug handle and are slightly tapered inside. No, the problem was that these expanding cup holder accessories are apparently designed to fit into a very small cup holder when not expanded, so they can't expand far enough to handle larger cup holders. There was a gap between the grippers and the sides of the cup holder when the unit was fully expanded, so there was just no way it was going to work. I had another older one in that same cup holder that "worked", but then I realized it was at its maximum expansion size and just barely hanging on. It's a nice idea, but since they start at a size barely larger than a soda can, they can only expand 50% larger because of the way the gripper supports meet in the center inside the base. (I took my older one apart to lubricate it because the expanders got stuck. The mechanism is a simple spiral pattern on top of the expanders, and "teeth" on the base of the upper part that push or pull the expanders.) Also the support arm that would have held a phone was pretty flimsy, and would not have been stable with the vehicle in motion. Another problem was that I couldn't easily put the arm at exactly the spot that I would have wanted, even if I used a neoprene sheet to fix the gap problem. There was no way to move the base of the arm around to an arbitrary location, so you have to rotate the whole unit in the cup holder. I went back to using my bendable long-arm, over-dash, suction-cup-to-the-windshield phone mount, to which I've attached a Lisen Magsafe charger head (the things that attach to the ball on these kinds of mounts are mostly interchangeable, just unscrew the plastic nut completely and pull it off the ball). The long bendable arm with suction cup has worked on every vehicle I've tried so far, although because it isn't as long as I would like I sometimes have to use it on the far left side of the dash. I wish someone made bendy-arm mounts that were around 20 inches long or expandable from 12-20 inches. The longest I've found is about 13 inches. These expandable cup holder units are really only intended for circular, non-tapered, no-gap, no-step(!) cup holders, only slightly bigger than a soda can diameter. For any other kind of cup holder, you may be very disappointed. Read more

The media could not be loaded. I'm loving my new car-mounted phone and cup holder combo! The design is sleek and sturdy, holding my phone securely in place while I navigate through unfamiliar roads. The cup holder is perfect for keeping my drinks within reach, and the adjustable arm allows me to customize the viewing angle for optimal visibility. The installation was a breeze. Read more

One feature that will be underrated is that the cupholder can be offset via a channel where a screw attaches it to the base. That is an upscale feature not offered by other products. However, the arm is not completely articulating (limits to angles) which, perhaps for sturdiness, is less flexible than some might wish. The dovetail connection from the arm to the cup has a solid connection, but I worry about removing it repeatedly -- I don't want a wobble to develop.. As someone who needs a phone holder occasionally (when its not in my pocket), it's bulky, and it gets less sway-tolerant as the arm is extended upward. As a right-handed U.S. driver, I'm frustrated with the screws on the articulating arm being on the left. That arrangement makes it difficult to adjust (by placement, not design). And finally, in the bottom of the cupholder (above the screw that holds it to the base) is a flexible insert. I would have preferred to have the screw countersinked with a more substantial silicon mesh on top to dampen the vibration that makes drinks lose their fizz. That said, I like it. It is easy to install, easy to a phone in/out of, and easy to remove (completely). Read more

Excellent support, very practical and firm I bought this support for my car and I loved it. It fits perfectly to the cup holder and is very firm, without moving or making noise. The arm is adjustable and allows you to place the phone at the height I need to use the GPS without distractions. In addition, the phone's grip is strong and safe, even on bumpy roads. Totally recommended for those looking for a stable and easy-to-install support. Read more

It is very practical to place the cell phone, but the space between the cell phone and a large drink is very small and the glass does not come out without hitting the cell phone. I also have to adjust it to the cup holder because it loosens a lot. Read more
