I have flat feet, and these help align my feet/ankles/legs like they should be. After you are used to the arch positioning your foot like it should be, it is so comfortable and helps with my foot and knee pain. They aren't extra cushiony. They feel like a normal shoe's insert with an arch, which is exactly what I wanted. They feel like high quality and I expect them to last a long time. I am probably going to buy more so I don't have to switch them between my different pairs of shoes. If it's your first time wearing inserts with an arch, you HAVE to build up how much you wear them. Wear them in your shoes while sitting/walking around the house for a few hours. Increase the amount you wear them each day and build up to doing longer stints of walking in them. Otherwise they are going to not feel comfortable and make the pain worse. You are altering how your body uses certain muscles in your foot based on how your arch is, so you can't expect to wear them all day for a full day of walking and be pain-free. Read more

Summary - Heel pain for over a year. Used Physix Gear inserts combined with their plantar fasciitis socks and after 2-3 months of healing, I am pain free. I was able to continue to workout, train and run and it still healed. I've purchased three pairs of Physix Gear orthotic inserts: 1) work shoes, 2) gym shoes and 3) work boots. Problem - I have flat feet and have been using inserts for over 30 years. I've used Superfeet, Dr. Sholl's CustomFit and even professionally made orthotics. I train 3-5 days a week of running, weights, stairs, HIIT, ice hockey, etc. and my heel (not the bottom as in plantar fasciitis, but around the heel on the outside) has been in pain for over a year. Solution - Try another brand inserts, so I tried Physix Gear. I started to feel less pain after about a week. Realistically, it has taken several months for the heel to heal. I could tell the inserts were making a difference, so I purchased the additional two pairs. Results - After purchasing my first pair in September 2019, my heel no longer hurts. Customer service - One of the pairs I received was defective, always smelly, unlike the others. I contacted Physix Gear and they listened to me and replaced the defective orthotic. They have OUTSTANDING customer service. Other Products - I've also purchased their kinesiology tape, which I used to try and fix my heel prior to purchasing the inserts, and the tape worked great, I just needed the inserts. I now also use their toeless socks, or as they call it, Plantar Fasciitis Socks with Arch Support for Men. I love these socks for running as they allow my toes to spread to support my foot as designed. So between the tape, the inserts and the socks, it was the inserts combined with the socks that allowed my heel to heal while still training. THANKS PHYSIX GEAR!!! Read more

Pros: Overall, I really like these insoles! The arch is a little tall for me, but still work well for my extremely flat feet. Lengthwise, these 10-11.5 insoles were too long for my size 10 shoes, but there was a convenient line guide on the bottom, so cutting them was no problem. They fit snugly inside my size 10w tennis shoes. My feet and ankles used to feel extremely painful after tennis (to the point where i'd have trouble walking), but after having worn these inserts for a while, I hardly ever feel pain anymore after playing, and if any at all, it's very mild! Cons: -0.5 stars just because these are very wide inserts, but are not advertised to be for wide-sized shoes. They fit snugly into my 10w tennis shoes, but were too wide to fit into my regular size 10 walking shoes. I had hoped to be able to switch these between different pairs of shoes, but now they only stay in my tennis shoes (not a big deal, I mostly needed them for tennis anyways). I suppose I could trim some width off, but I dont feel as confident to do this because I'm afraid it would mess with the 3D shape of the insert. It would help if the images or description could include measurements of the insert width and/or if there were a width-cutting guideline underneath the insert like the length guide. Overall, I think these are great insoles if you have flat and wide feet, just make sure that you are putting them into wide sized shoes or be prepared to trim. Read more

These are great for sneakers and other low top shoes. they lay evenly in the shoe with a nice comfy arch curve. They don't raise your heel up unnecessarily. (stop reading here if you don't want to hear me complain). I have spent hundreds of dollars on insoles. I purchased most of the big popular big names including superf**t brand and they all do the same stupid thing in slightly different ways. Every single insert except for this physix gear insert raises the heel volume up higher than the front of the foot insert. This is great if your wearing work boots or some other shoe with a high heel but not for anything else. This changes the shoe completely and makes most shoes feel less stable at the heel. I usually take them out because my heel feels like it's going to slip out. I have a graveyard of expensive inserts that I can't use because they have too much heel rise. I just want something that curves to my foot and supports the shoes original design. Physix Gear insert finally gets that done. The type of shoe your wearing or using will dictate heel height, front to back. The insert doesn't need to do this so it drives me crazy because 90% of them have a raised heel. If its a boot or hiking boot, then the heel is up higher already. If its a sneaker or every other shoe then heel rise is not needed or wanted so inserts with a raised heel ruins the shoes original performance. Physix gear has finally done this correctly! Sorry if I sound bitter but i've spent a fortune on high price inserts and they are almost all getting it wrong. Physix gear is also a very slim insert so it doesn't unnecessarily use up the space for your foot. Good job but I see the price creeping up a bit and that's my only complaint. Read more
