I'm going to start out by saying that I returned this but never have I been so reluctant to return something. I loved it. I did measure out how big it was before I bought it but I think I was trying to make it fit. There's no way I was going to be able to cram it in my backpack. It is a large cooler (as stated in the dimensions). It would be perfect if you are a big eater, bring multiple drinks, meals, snacks, etc with you daily but not just for a normal lunch. It would even be great for trips. Unfortunately, I don't really have a need for that so I couldn't justify keeping it. It's so well made and super cute. The silverware seems nice too.
