Looking at this pillow reminded me of the highly rated and highly expensive Coop pillow I tried out a few months ago for more than double the price. I thought this looked like a very interesting pillow to try out in comparison. My thoughts below: Appearance/Feel Just like all memory foam pillows, it comes compressed and you need to pull it out of the tight plastic wrapping. Once out, it's incredibly flat to the point where you hope this better rise up over time. Thankfully it does but it'll take a couple of hours to fully do so. Off the bat, I liked how the bamboo rayon fabric cover looked and felt across my skin. I appreciate the pillow having a cool side that's smoother and the regular side which isn't as smooth, but not rough. I can tell off the bat it is cooler on the cooler side, although I've felt cooler pillows in the past. One small quirk I do notice is that there are creases on the cover. Not a big deal but I do wonder how it got there (you can see in the picture). Use: The instructions provided say take out 1/4 of the memory foam if you're a pure side sleeper and 1/4 - 1/2 if you're a back/side sleeper as they purposefully packed extra in the pillow. At first I tried it out w/out taking any out and it felt okay, but then you do start to notice the stiffness. Had to then take out what I think is about 1/4 - 1/3rd. I can tell it was better in that I can sink better into the pillow. I slept well throughout the night and have absolutely no complaints with the pillow at all. I do wonder how it would feel during the peak of summer though, but I'm not a very hot sleeper so I think it would also work there. Conclusion: All in all, this is about 90% of the Coop pillow I had in terms of comfort and coolness for less than half the price. I slept well using this pillow and will look forward to continuing using it and highly recommend this for value-based sleepers who want a comfortable memory foam pillow. Read more

This pillow is pretty decent for the price. The foam is nice and soft, and they do send it wayyy overstuffed so you can adjust it to be as thick or thin as you want. The only complaint is that there is a slight chemical smell that made it hard to sleep on at first. Otherwise, good pillow! Read more

This is a review for a memory foam standard size pillow from pillosophy. The pillow will come in a small box and be vacuum sealed. You will gently cut open the plastic to watch the pillow open up and expand. I gave it a day to fully expand. It is like many other memory foam type pillows where it will have a cooler outside cover and a more firm memory foam material like many others in its class. But, what this pillow differs from the rest is in customization. There is no true one size fits all pillow, but what pillosophy did was make a memory foam pillow that can be close to that. This pillow has instructions for every type of sleeper from back, side and stomach. You do this by unzipping the first cover and the second cover to get to the foam squares and removing the stuffing to get to a desired loft. This is rare to find this and especially for stomach sleepers. Once you have done that you will find the pillow to be firm, but it is a moveable firm where it is not too stiff. There is good support and you should get a quality night of sleep from your customizable pillow. The cooling cover is nice, but like most cooling covers; it will not keep you cool throughout the night and will need a flip or two. This pillow is good quality and at an affordable price. You could pay many times this amount and not get a pillow that allows for so much customization and is comfortable nearly right out the box. The break-in time is nowhere near as bad as some high-end brands. Read more
