Holy cow! This is THE pillow I’ve been searching for. I am a side sleeper and this is the first pillow I’ve had with the cut out for your shoulder. It is a game changer! Along with the fact that this pillow does not go flat. It is soft and comfortable. It has a cooling side that is ok, but I don’t need this so it doesn’t affect me. I didn’t notice any odor when I opened it but the pillow comes with specific instructions on how to eliminate odors if needed. It also tells you how to adjust the filling to suit side, back or stomach sleepers. The extra filling is provided. I strongly recommend this pillow. I’ve been on a pillow hunt for a very long time. The pillow is absolutely stunning and super soft, but it has the right amount of firmness and softness, one side is Velvety smooth which is the cooling side and the other side is cotton soft which is the warmer side and I love when I lay my head on the pillow my head sinks in and I didn't noticed any smell either, so that was a plus and the little heart shapes on the pillow cover is so cute and I love the curve on the bottom of the pillow so it can have room for your shoulder when laying on your side and also it's adjustable so you can remove or add memory foam to adjust it to your level of comfort once I laid my head on it I didn't want to get up and I have been through so many pillows that didn't meet my expectations and all the pillows I went through was either uncomfortable or went flat and gave me headaches, body aches and soreness, so I'm crossing my fingers hoping I found my pillow and that the pillow will last a long time and that it wouldn't go flat on me 🤞🏼 update: the pillow eventually goes flat and the fillings it's not enough to fill your pillow fully, so you're going to need more fillings even when putting the inserts in the dryer the fillings will only fluff up for a moment and it'll go flat again the next day so I need more fillings because the fillings are definitely not enough to completely fill the pillow so it won't go flat and the pillow comes with a little package of extra fillings and I used that up so I need more. I almost never write reviews but stop searching for the next pillow, seriously. I am disabled with multiple chronic illnesses and my hypermobility causes my neck and shoulders to collapse in while sleeping, since my muscles no longer are holding everything taut. If you have EDS or another similar condition, this feels like sleeping on the softest squishmallow, and the cooling fabric *actually* feels cool to the touch on my face. The other side is super soft but the cooling side is also incredibly soft and my favorite because of night sweats and hot flashes. It’s been one night sleeping with this beauty but my neck already feels so much better, and that’s saying something considering I’m in a flare from hell right now. The option to remove or add extra foam is just the cherry on top so you can customize the height you need. I was able to comfortably sleep on my side all night with this, and I usually end up on my back due to pain. I would still advise having an extra few pillows to prop around your body if you are hypermobile to support your shoulders and back if you side sleep, but this is a dream against my face and for my neck and shoulders.
