Pilon Restaurant Blend Espresso Coffee 10 Ounce Pack of 12

I purchased this just before the tariffs all started, because I wanted a supply of coffee not affected by them. This 12 pack of Pilon has increased in price since then, but it remains a solid value for the money. It smells amazing, has wonderfully robust flavors in my cup, and helps me get my day started right each morning. I had not tried Pilon before, but I am very glad I did. I see why it is so popular in many places. This is one of three new to me brands I tried when buying my stockpile of coffee, all were very good choices, but this one a bit better due to the number of bricks it got me. 120 oz is nothing to sneeze at for a coffee drinker. We’ve been loyal customers of this coffee for many years and love its flavor. However, our last three shipments have arrived with at least two out of four packages having air leaks—NOT vacuum-sealed as advertised (see attached photo). Given the premium price, we expect consistently fresh coffee, but the difference in taste is noticeable in the unsealed packages. We don’t mind paying for quality, but Amazon needs to step up its quality control to ensure customers receive the product as intended. Read more
