Love these pimple patches! I have an issue with picking at my face, and these have helped me so much with preventing that. I haven’t tried them over skin care, but am assuming they’re similar to other patches and wont adhere. Before applying I typically wash my face and dry it completely, apply the patches, and then apply the rest of my skin care around the patch. I have also applied them throughout the day without having washed my face right before (I have combination skin - so there were definitely oils) and they’ve worked great! I’ve worn them for hours, or even all night, and have had no issues with them coming off throughout the day or in my sleep! They also WORK. Every single time I’ve put them over a whitehead, I’ve taken it off and seen the whitehead left on the patch. It’s also been very effective with keeping me from touching spots on my face. They are really sticky, so most of the time it does rip the scab off if there is one, so I’d be mindful of that. For me, that’s still a benefit since it’s still keeping my fingers and tweezers out of the spot! I have also noticed it helps with healing, but am honestly not sure if that’s just because I’m not messing with the area like I normally would, or if it’s the patch itself. These pimple patches are a fun and cute change from the patches I typically use. I thought I could use a bit of fun in my life right now, so I picked up a pack of these. I have tried a few different pimple patches. I believe these work just as well. I'm not sure they work any better though even though they have tea tree oil and salicylic acid. You can smell the oil before you even open them, so it's there. I just couldn't say that these worked any faster than others I've used. They are, however, pretty cute and fun. I'm a middle age woman, and while I would not wear these out of the house (bc I'm not *that* much fun), it amused me to wear these while hanging out at home. I had to confirm to my husband that, yes, I did know I had star stickers on my face...I put them there. I always use very thin patches in my flesh tone so they blend in and are virtually unnoticeable. They are great when I want to wear them while out running errands or something. These are definitely thicker, and you won't be hiding that you have them on (but that's the point). I thought they were going to be too thick to stick well and move around with my face, but they held on just fine until I removed them. There are several different sizes, but honestly, I couldn't really tell there were that many. Some lines seem to have different sizes, but honestly, if I didn't see the listing to tell me that I don't think I would have noticed because. I mean, it's obvious from the large to the small, but two adjacent sizes isn't. There are also a few colors, but there is a sheet of sheer stars in the pack I chose if you did want something less attention grabbing now and then. I love the picture on the web page of the young woman with th huge pimple want to be that amazingly disappears with the patch! Don't get me wrong - I use the patches and they do work but I've never had the total, 100% perfect skin in just 6 hrs. I usually use the patches for a couple of days at the very least, and I'm still happy. As with most issues, the quicker you are to start correcting it, the sooner the problem will resolve. So I try to start using the patch as soon as I notice even the smallest bumps. The colored stars aren't what my son wants to use, so these are all mine. Yep, I'm an older woman who still gets the occassional pimple that always seems to pop up before an important event. And several times, on the tip of my nose!! Needless to say - pimple patches go everywhere with me. I prefer these color versions to wear overnight because I remember to remove them in the morning. I see them!
