Cool red flame
The media could not be loaded. This is a really cool lighter. It's simple to operate. Put in the butane, and it works great. The flame turns red after about 1 to 2 seconds. See my pics. Instructions are great. Read more
Nice idea but didn't work....
I'll admit it. I ordered this torch lighter just for that promised pink flame. I also needed a smaller thinner torch lighter that wouldn't take up much space while out kayaking and camping, etc. The lighter arrived ready to be filled with butane that I already had. Filling it with butane wasn't too difficult though it was hard to tell when the reservoir was full because you can't simply look. Sadly, other than the lighter being the perfect size, a nice Orange Pink color, and being easy to fill, that's where the positives end. Maybe I simply got the fluke faulty one but it just didn't work. I could get some sputtering flame, that wasn't pink, at first but after the first few flicks it pretty much quit doing even that. We did take it apart to adjust the fuel flow but after the first couple of decent flicks, one was even somewhat pink in color, it went back to the sputtering. I really wish it had worked out but oh well..... Read more
