I got this bag as an upgrade for my daughter ahead of second grade. This backpack is GREAT and will work for her all the way through middle if she takes decent care of it. After a little accident, we had to wash it, but all the stains came out immediately and it dried rather quickly. It's lightweight despite a bit of bulk. It's not too large for elementary or primary kids either, especially if my petite kid can wear it comfortably. This is a perfect backpack & even though it's suggested to be for women taking it to the gym, it's so much more! It arrived quickly & is a great backpack for under $15. Well made and lots of room for needed organized pockets. The price is so inexpensive that you might think that it can't be well made but it is. I was surprised and I recommend this for everyone who is feeling the pinch of the cost of sending our kids back to school. Cleaning it only takes a little bit of scrubbing and the material is forgiving. I was truly shocked that this little guy is so great and I'm sure it will last a whole yr for most students.
