Nice, very fine rose powder - AWESOME in Hot Cocoa!!!

Brenda MarieNovember 2, 2021

This Matcha Rose Powder is very interesting. It is super fine and really does remind me of matcha powder in texture – and how it dissolves. The taste is an essence of Rose – light – not overpowering. Then at the end it finishes with an almost bitter taste – but not too much of one – very slight. That is because it is actual petals ground down – so you are eating the petal. To me, it really is reminiscent of Matcha that way. It is nice in a cup of hot water – but I like it even more added to a mug of hot chocolate. It is like roses and chocolate – YUM! Like chocolate covered Turkish delight! If you found my review helpful, why not click the “helpful” button. Thanks! Enjoy your day! : ) Read more

Lovely matcha!

opalNovember 20, 2021

I love rose scent and flavor, and this tea is wonderful! The flavor is light, floral with a slightly bitter aftertaste. A touch of honey into this while it's hot clears up the bitter note, and this tea mixes very well with black or green tea, or the fruity/herbal teas I've tried. It brews up as a light yellow and mixes quite well into hot water, or into smoothies for a flavor bonus. I'm looing forward to adding this into coconut flour muffins, with a few drops of rose essence and vanilla for an unusual, tasty, and healthy treat! Seems truly natural however taste is not great

Malika KOctober 26, 2022

I have never had a rose matcha before and I thought it would be fun. I think this product is 100% natural so that is why it tastes very bitter, like a real rose would taste, not like sweety-sweet candy. I added creamer and sugar but still did not like the taste much, so I will pass and drink a rose tea instead. Read more

Exquisite and deeply aromatic; makes good rose beverages

Hunter WarriorOctober 16, 2021

This is an exquisite and deeply aromatic pink matcha powder. It is a very fine, light pink powder made from pink rose petals (Rosa × centifolia). It is sourced from Pakistan and manufactured in Germany. I use this to make a latte with almond milk, in the same way I would make a green tea matcha latte. It has a wonderful rosy taste and aroma as expected. Though it is a little light and plain to drink by itself, so I add a couple of hibiscus petals to spice up the taste and color, plus monk fruit powder to sweeten it (blend with the hot pink matcha tea before adding the milk). It is pretty tasty and aromatic. Rose petals are known to have some good health benefits. They contain antioxidants and polyphenols that work to protect the body from cell damage. It may also help reduce inflammation of the eyes and skin, and support the cardiovascular system. They are also widely used for skin care, for which this powder is suitable since it is a 100% pure rose petal powder. This comes in a sturdy, resealable plastic foil bag. Mine has a best before date of 3 years from now. The quality seems very good and fresh. The rosy smell is wonderful. Overall, I'm pretty pleased with this pink matcha powder. It makes good rose beverages and may also be used for skin care. I appreciate that it specifies the botanical name, country of origin and of manufacture to reassure the purity and quality. The price is pretty reasonable as well. I would recommend giving it a try if you like rose water and such. Read more
