The color online is an accurate representation of the color of this rug. I don’t know why my photos look so washed out, but trust the photos online. This is a nice rug. As you can see the rug is very fluff and has a nice binding. As stated above the color is the pretty, soft pink you see pictured online. The reason I deducted a star is the rug had a strong, unpleasant odor upon opening the package. The rug was intended for my 18 month old granddaughter to play on so I was a bit concerned. We have a covered patio and so I left it out there for a day or so. I am pleased that the smell seemed to be completely gone. Since the smell did go away I vacillated between 4 and 5 stars. I settled on 4 because some people are very sensitive to smells. While I’m not especially sensitive to smells I feel like the fact that it arrived with such a strong odor that I didn’t want to keep it inside warranted the deduction of one star. I will be interested to see if other reviewers report the odor or if mine was a one off. Going on looks alone this rug color is the perfect baby girl, sweet sixteen shade of pink. It has the look of luxury, something you’d see in a million dollar home’s nursery. It would fit right in on a TikTok of Alabama sorority dorm room makeover by a professional designer. Made a great kid's room rug. Super soft and the rug itself is thick, not like your common house rug, more like a carpet. Rug hair is super long and the bottom has a nice grip for hard floors. However, it doesn't wash easily. The material is very long and the only way to clean it is with a carpet cleaner of some sort. Also I'm disappointed with the thickness of the rug hair. It's very soft but thin, you can see the base though the shag. Should be a lot thicker, especially for the price of the rug. Read more
I received this rug in a high vacuumed bag and did not realize how fluffy it was until I let it stand for a couple of hours. It is so soft and nice to walk on that I regreted it when I gave it to my son to use in his bedroom The color is solid blue, not my cup of tea but he liked it. I would have preferred a darker color such as brown but this will do. The size is more than enough to cover most of my son's bedroom and we have not used the vacuum to clean it yet. I think it should be fine. I can almost lie down and take a nap there. My kid insists on us to remove our shoes before entering his room now and I understand why.
