No joke, this hair dryer with diffuser is absolutely amazing! It dried my super long, thick hair in record time without frizz or damage, and honestly it’s like a million times better than my old one. The plasma ion tech really works—my curls look defined, shiny, and so healthy. First let me list my favorite things about this. I love the fact you can fold it. Takes up less space in my bathroom and easy to take on vacation. The fact that it weighs under a pound is spectacular! I have health issues which cause both my hands to randomly not hold anything heavy, or simply not work. I dread washing my hair because I know my arms and hands will suffer a week afterwards. The cost of going to the hairdresser to have my hair washed and styled isn’t cheap. Especially since I get charged $20 because the length is long. I had been going 3 months with no heat to my hair, which allowed me to avoid the damage and have incredible growth. I do believe my hair has more moisture than it typically would after having it blow dried. The noise level was pretty standard. Which is fine. I got the Black one because it goes with everything and was the least expensive. My only complaint is that I wish it was a bit hotter. I saw the wattage but hopes the drying design would make up for it. It was still faster than using my old one. I just really wish it came with a straightening comb. Again, since I have issues with my hands, it would have been awesome to have the combing brush (for straightening). Since my hair is so thick, the nozzle meant for straightening didn’t do the job for me as well as I would have liked. Hopefully, they’ll make one that I can just buy. This hair dryer is great. The negative ion feature keeps your strands soft and smooth without all those little flyaway hairs around the top of your head. The heat drying your hair temporarily cools a bit every so often, so you don’t burn your hair or scalp. Streamlined, not big or clunky. And it’s fairly lightweight. My hair drys more quickly than my old blow dryer. Comes with a diffuser if you have curly hair, but I don’t have a need for it. Read more

I’m honestly super bummed out about this hair dryer. I was very excited as most of the reviews are really good. My previous $10 hair dyers have done a much better job. I have straight past shoulder length. I have tried the dryer out for about 2 weeks with and without attachments. Cons: - without an attachment even at the lowest speed, the air is so strong and just creates a terrible knotted mess… I’ve never experienced this with other blow dryers! - my hair does not feel super smooth - I have to go through with my blow dryer brush tool to achieve the shiny/smooth feel o used to get with my $10 dryer - takes me over 10 minutes to dry my hair, again my cheaper dryer got me dry in 5 mins or less - temp, even on the higher heat setting without the attachment, it’s pretty cooled off my the time it hits your head unless you have it super close. This is what creates frizz, it might be healthier for the hair except it feels terrible and gets knotted. - frizzy and Flat hair within 2 hours… was not the case with previous dryers. Cons Never got very hot. I’m have thick but fine mid length hair. I have never had so many tangles while drying my hair. I tried adjusting the fan settings and still just tangles. I adjusted the heat settings and even on hot it was just warm. Took my hair way longer to dry than just my old cheap walmart hair dryer. Pros. Amazing! I mean, I know it's just a hair dryer and everything, but it blew away my expectations (pun intended). I have thick, coarse, wavy hair down to the small of my back. It takes for. Ev. Er to dry. This dryer does speed up the process, and I love the adjustable wind speed and heat. I haven't used it on full heat yet, but I feel like it doesn't fry my hair. I used to have a Shark FlexStyle hair dryer, but it kept shutting off after just a few minutes and I had to unplug and plug it back in every time—so frustrating. I decided to try this hair dryer, and I’m honestly blown away! It’s super quiet, the airflow is way faster than my Shark, and it cost only about 1/5 of the price.
