Just used it. Does what it says, is very sturdy and solid build. No weird rattling or light like a toy. Didn’t realize it came with a soldering iron as well. Has already fixed several toys for the kids. And soon will do car trim. Very nice. Heats up quick so be mindful. Bought this to replace a much cheaper wand-style one I've had for years. They both do their job, but this one definitely feels like a way better tool, hefty in your hand and solid trigger operation and feel etc. It makes my wand style one feel like junk. It also comes with a TON of accessories. The spatula/spreader isn't that great, it probably needs to get hotter than it does as even leaving it plugged in a long time you need to apply heavy pressure to melt any of the filler rods. But I bought it for the stapler, the other tool was just a bonus. I do wish they had made the case slightly bigger and able to accommodate the staples and bins for them. That's really the only thing I disliked was the staples come in a bunch of baggies and there's no room in the tool storage box for them. While I have a gigantic tool box at work anyway it doesn't really affect me, but if I were buying it for personal use in a DIY capacity it would definitely urk me as an over sight Read more

I received the item and it confused me at first as the box says, "MIG TIG PLASMA Welding and Cutting Torch," things I did not order. It was a plastic welder however. The box was trashed but I believe that was on Amazon. The extra metal clips, plastic rods, and sandpaper were thrown in the box as if it was an afterthought and wasn't a good 1st impression. The plastic case held the 2 irons and some extra tools, 1 of which is a pair of wire cutters. The wire cutters are NOT flush cutters so you will have bits of metal sticking up from the metal staples after clipping them off, a very painful oversight so grab a hammer, beat them down, and hope you dont have to reuse these staples to fix what you broke when trying to fix it...tongue twister! It came with a retractable hobby knife, shorty bit driver handle with phillips/flat head double sided bit, wire cutters, a plastic Welding gun for the staples and a Welding iron that resembles a soldering iron with pointed end and a replacement iron end that is triangular. The rods were stuck together with stickers, which luckily broke during shipment so I have zero clue what plastic each rod is made out of, who doesn't like a little roulette with their Russian mystery plastic rods? In the end the items work well but it does have its shortcomings. I believe this is still a good value that does work... for now at least. Read more
