This ball is fantastic! I have a big puppy who would tell you if he could, "Ball IS life", and this one is pretty awesome. It's large enough that he won't accidentally swallow it, but it's small enough that he can get his mouth around it. It took a bit to get him to actually play with it. He took it from me like it was a treat and then just licked it for a solid half hour. It took me throwing it in the yard and retrieving it myself a few times before he realized he wasn't meant to eat it. It's quite durable, though I don't know what the squeak sounds like yet because he hasn't nommed it hard enough to make a noise yet. We've gone through many balls over the months, and none were as durable or strong as this one. Playology has always been a brand I look for when I see recommendations come up. From the very beginning, my Australian Shepherd has loved this squeaky chew ball. I chose the jumbo size for my dog, who weighs around 70 pounds, and it is the perfect size for him. It’s not too small and doesn’t feel like a choking hazard, which was very important to me. It’s great for fetch, and he has not been able to chew through it at all. It seems very tough, durable, and easy to clean. The ball does squeak, which gives my dog extra stimulation and makes playtime more fun. It’s advertised as being embedded with an all natural red velvet cake scent, but the scent is very mild and not overpowering I honestly didn’t really notice it. That said, my dog absolutely loves this ball and enjoys playing fetch with it. The jumbo size is a great choice for larger dogs and feels like a safer alternative compared to regular balls. It’s slightly bigger than a tennis ball and easy for a large dog to carry. The color is also very pretty a nice pink shade. While I do think the price is a bit high for just one ball, it does appear to be well made and has held up well to my Australian Shepherd, who enjoys chewing. My Blue Heeler absolutely adores the Playology balls. They’re weighted, they squeak, and apparently that’s the perfect combo because Cooper has a LOT of balls, but these are the ones he proudly parades around the house, squeaking nonstop. He was thrilled to see this new one, and I grabbed the jumbo size just to mix things up. The wild part is that it really does smell like red velvet cake. I’d have to ask Cooper if it tastes like cake too, but judging by how much he loves it, I think he’d say yes. The entire Playology line has been fantastic for us—every toy is tough, durable, and built for serious play. These balls never end up with chew marks or damage, even with a rough‑and‑tumble dog like mine. They truly last. Highly recommended for any dog who loves to play hard. Read more

Unfortunately because this toy couldn't get the interest of my dog much IO can only go off the look and feel of the toy. My pup generally loves any latex or soft toys, but the Playology Dog Toys | Squeaky Chew Ball - Bouncy Durable Floating Fetch Ball for Dogs was a more harder material than what my pup was use to. I would say for dogs who are rough chewers they would appreciate this more. The ball is made of a tough material, but does squeak pretty loud when you squeeze or press down. The material is durable from what it can feel like. It rolls easily although it's on the heavier side I don't recommend throwing this around the house. Read more

This is super cute! My dog always loves getting a new ball and since she shreds the skins off of tennis balls, we have to go rubber. This one is a win for her which I figured it would be since she loves Playology toys. We've never had one with this scent before and I love that it's pink- obviously my dog doesn't care about that part but I think it's fun! The ball is really durable and she can't destroy it in minutes like she does with normal fetch balls. It'll last literally years and is a great ball for fetch/catch and also for her to just chew on it when she wants to. We love Playology balls and will continue to purchase! Read more

The media could not be loaded. Doggie loved it, while it lasted. Unfortunately she was able to chew through it in about 2-3 minutes and eventually tore it to shreds so it went in the garbage after about 10 mins. BUT, I will say that is pretty normal for her. Some last a little longer, some last much much shorter. It only squeaked a few times until the first hole was punctured but she continued to chew even with no squeaking. She was definitely entertained with it, but I had to take it away before she made a complete mess. I would say this is a good value for someone with a normal dog that doesn’t destroy everything. If it will stick around for a while then I would spend the money on it. For me, it is just a little too expensive for a 5 minute chew. The quality is good, my dog is just a maniac. Maybe I will try to give her a bowling ball to chew on next, see if she can get through that! Read more

This Playology squeaky chew ball is an instant favorite. The size is perfect for large dogs and feels sturdy enough to handle enthusiastic chewing without being rock hard. It has a great bounce for fetch, floats nicely, and the squeaker keeps playtime exciting without being obnoxiously loud. The Red Velvet Cake scent is surprisingly pleasant and keeps my dog interested far longer than unscented toys. I also really appreciate how easy it is to clean. Being able to toss it in the dishwasher makes a huge difference, especially for toys that get used outdoors. The material feels durable, safe, and well made, not flimsy or cheap. Read more
