I finally got my hands on the PS5, and wow — it’s everything I hoped for and more. The console itself looks sleek and futuristic, and the new DualSense controller is a game-changer. The haptic feedback and adaptive triggers make every action feel more immersive; pulling a bowstring or driving over rough terrain actually feels different in your hands. Load times are insanely fast thanks to the SSD. I’ve jumped into multiple games, and everything loads almost instantly — no more waiting forever at loading screens. The graphics are stunning, especially on a 4K TV. Shadows, lighting, and textures feel way more realistic than previous consoles. The UI is clean and intuitive, though I wish the storage was a bit bigger out of the box — some games are massive! Still, the ability to expand storage is a nice bonus. To whom it may concern; My PS5 stopped powering on a few days ago, before my birthday last week. It was so disappointing. I hoped it was the socket or that it would start working again wishfully but I had no such luck. It has been very disheartening as I thought hard about making this purchase having not owned a gaming console in over 10 years even though I was a very enthusiastic gamer growing up and people would praise me for my powers. As such I internalize the ambition of gaming professionally and creating content. I was excited to resurface these ambitions with the PS5 over any other console as the early models made an awesome impression on me and I wanted to try some of the games I saw being advertised like Street fighters, Dragon Ball Sparking Zero, and Ghost of Tsushima to name a few. The few weeks I was able to use my PS5 were amazing. I bought Ghost of Tsushima and Seikiro, although I hardly got to play them. I also bought and mostly played Kakarot since Dragonball Sparking Zero is still a bit too expensive for me right now. To have tasted what I was missing makes me miss it now that I don't have it (Makes me think of that question: does it hurt more to never have something or to have had it and lost it?). I alerted Amazon and it looks like they are going to replace the PS5 thankfully, however, looks like that won't be until March for some reason, in any event, it was a relief for now and I will keep this comment updated. Amazon's Customer Service has been very helpful and nice in assisting! ...So amazon sent the new one in just a few days! The only bummer was my shipping company delayed it and I had to pay customs again :( Customer Service must get another kudos regardless! The new item has been working fine since I got it and they really looked out and made the process smooth and speedy! As of Feb 5 2025 changing this 3 star review to a 5 because once it works the PS5 is awesome and Amazon's was awesome can't stretch that enough! I bought this PS5 for my son & he loves it. It came with a black & blue ninja package 📦 already installed into the system & it's his favorite bundle. However, he's always donating & giving his friends online some money, so he doesn't have it anymore. Anyways, the durability is great, very everlasting & stable & the the storage capacity is more than enough to download & store all of his video games. Worth the money. Read more
