This stone drying mat is amazing. I have two much smaller ones on my vanities. I use this larger one mainly when I empty the dishwasher and some of the items are still wet or moist. It works well. Very good at absorbing water. Does not promote mold buildup. Keeps countertops safe. The only downside, is that it stains easily. It does come with a small sanding pad, that can be used on the stains, but I find that they build up faster than I can clean them. Read more

This is an updated review. Although this Mat does absorb water and dries it also absorbs any residual particles and disperses it. A silicone oven mat left its impression, a lid from a pot, crumbs, it grabs it all. I bought the light one with grey streaks. It was pretty for one day. Now it’s very dirty looking because the absorbed stains will not come out. If you buy one, I’d advise getting a dark color. It was packaged extremely well, and does what it says, but after a short time I have to discard it because it looks very dirty. Read more
