Fits well in either direction but I prefer the cup positioned towards the back to hide or soak dirty silverware. The rack is a nice size for drying glassware or mugs. And the slot running vertically fits Swedish washcloths well. I've had this one a few years and the finish hasn't faded. There is some flex to fit varying sink depths. It does not however fit in the lip of the Kohler Billings sink design, which was a bummer when I bought an additional caddy for another sink. This is a sturdy little rack that adjusts to fit kitchen sinks, and provides a nice way to air dry your sponges, dish towels, scrub brushes. Everything drips right into the sink, and air circulation below the rack helps the sponges dry faster. I bought one for both our houses, and it adjusted well to different sink styles. The charcoal container is more attractive with our counters than the white, but both work great for soaking fondue forks, or holding bottle brushes. Keeps the counter by the sink less cluttered. I put the soap dispenser on my old sponge holder to catch drips running down the side. So now the entire counter near the sink stays dry. Read more

I purchased this product mainly to dry my dish rag and keep silverware from ending up in the garbage disposal. It’s the perfect solution for the latter. I actually love that the cup does not have holes in it, so utensils can soak before going into the dishwasher. This makes it super easy to remove stuck on food. As far as holding the rag goes, it does a fine job. You cannot quickly place the rag on the bar. So while I’m washing dishes, I usually just set it on the rack part and then fold and put it away when I’m done. Also the rag sits pretty close to the bottom on the sink so if you turn the water on or pour something in the sink it may get on the rag. So you may need to remove it to avoid getting tomato sauce all over your rag. This is only a minor concern, and I still recommend purchasing. The only solution I could imagine is to raise the entire device so it sits flush with the countertop. But that would probably make it less secure and make water pooling on the counter much more probable. My last issue is that you do have to move it to clean out your sink. Food can get under it and it’s difficult to rinse it down the drain with the caddy there. This isn’t the products fault it’s just reality. Overall I think the product is great and you should buy it. I was skeptical about the functionality of this item but gave it a try as I have a Kohler Neoroc sink that will not hold suction cup caddies. This fits across my undermount sink and rests on the countertop perfectly. The ends have a clear rubbery substance that holds the rack in place perfectly without slipping or sliding. And it expanded to fit across my sink (I measured before ordering to make sure). I wanted to have a place to put my dish sponge stick, which the cup is perfect for; and found that there is a place to also hang the dish rag; and the top is handy for small items that are rinsed off. The rubber coating on the handles in the picture is likely better than your reality. The rubber on these is actually clear and much thinner. Time will tell how long they'll last. They'd serve themselves well to give inside dimensions, because this was too long to sit inside my sink width wise, which is what I wanted. It's sturdy enough I used my vice to decrease the length of the area where the cup is supposed to go. I could fit the cup if I had too, but they're a useless gimmick to begin with, they don't even have a drain hole. Better to hang brushes etc. on the rack. Read more
