I bought these 5-inch corduroy shorts for my husband, and they were such a pleasant surprise. I knew they were corduroy, but I was expecting that heavy, winter-style fabric. Instead, these are lightweight, soft, and perfect for summer. The texture gives them a little personality without the bulk, and they feel great to the touch - almost velvety. The color blue was just a shade lighter than the photos, but not enough to matter. My husband said they’re incredibly comfortable, and the drawstring waist adds the right balance of casual and practical. They fit true to size and look great on him. I was skeptical given the cheap price and the fact that they are obviously produced in China... but these shorts are awesome. They are comfortable, breathable, look great, and feel as though they're good enough quality to last me quite a while. When I find something I like that comes in a variety of options, I can't help myself but to order more variations. I just placed an order for 4 different colors. One thing I will say - as another user has already mentioned, I would highly suggest sizing 2 sizes up from what you normally wear. I have always worn M in shorts and XL fits me perfectly. Ordered size M, husband is 5'-10", 155 pounds. He doesn't carry weight around the middle. These are nice looking shorts, wash up great, color stays. We ordered the black and steal blue colors (steal blue nice color). Could be for casual or dress up for summer party/cruise wear/vacation wear. Read more
I love these shorts. They fit my aesthetic perfectly. Not too thin. Not too thick. I'm 5'6" and stocky on a good day. Standing up they land just above the knee and sitting down about 3 1/2" above the knee. The tan pair was a bit larger so you had a little more mobility. If these shorts had a little more elasticity in the material they'd be perfect. Also, the pocket lining bulges out when sitting. Another thing is that they aren't too loose or too tapered. If you're built like a brick house on chop sticks like me, they do add a little proportion to the fit. Read more
Great shorts. They have a nice hand to them, and have washed well so far. I fluctuate waist sizes between 34 and 36 and size large fits well. They are shorter than typical shorts too, which I like because I have short legs. The pockets are nice and deep. Also, not really a negative, but I've been told by people that they look like pajama bottoms. Read more
