I picked up these corduroy shorts and have been really happy with them. The fit is excellent—relaxed but still flattering—and the 7-inch inseam gives them a nice modern look without feeling too short. The corduroy fabric is soft and comfortable, and it has that classic textured look that makes them stand out a little from typical casual shorts. Even with the corduroy material, they still feel lightweight enough for warm weather. I ordered and received the gray medium shorts. The elastic back ensured a snug fit around my midsection and the leg opening was roomy but not snug. It was just the way I like it [see photo]. The shorts have belt loops which allow the elastic back to be less conspicuous when worn with the shirt tucked in. I even wore a belt to see if it would cover the elastic. Seemed to look OK [see photo]. The corduroy stripes looked good and the material felt soft and comfortable. I also like the deep front pockets and having two pockets in the back. I think they’re versatile because they have good casual features (leg length, elastic back, pockets in back and front) but they also look a bit up-scale because of the corduroy pattern. Very nice shorts. They were a bit wrinkled when I received them and my first pictures didn’t look good so I ironed the shorts. They looked better, but I suspect they may be inclined to wrinkle and they certainly show wrinkles when they’re present. Really like these shorts. The corduroy fabric feels soft and comfortable, not too heavy, and still breathable enough for warmer days. The relaxed fit and elastic waistband make them easy to wear all day. They have a nice vintage look without feeling outdated, and the pockets are actually useful. These short a lightweight for corduroy, which is what I was hoping for. They are medium to fine wales on a stretchy polyester (they are 100% polyester) base. These will be good warm weather shorts, with a bit of substance for cooler weather. Fabric is soft, sewing and overall construction is good. I was surprised to find 6 belt loops, (expecting the usual 5) with two at the rear seam, which will make these shorts drape better especially worn with a belt. The pink color was another concern, but I find it to be somewhat muted and very similar to the images in the listing. The elastic in the waist is comfortable, as are the shorts which give enough for comfort. These can be worn with or without a belt. I wear a 38-40" waist and the size XL fits me very well, with no excess bag in the legs. The pockets are generous and there are 5. I was about to write there are only 4, but looking a little closer I discovered the right front pocket has another, kind of like a coin pocket on jeans. This pocket is large enough for my Pixel cell phone, which is terrific as it will keep my phone protected from keys, coins, and whatever else I have in the main pocket. I usually use the whole left from pocket for my cell, and now that is freed up. And IMHO they look sharp. Read more

This is possibly the best pair of shorts I have ever owned. It fits my 5' 10" 165lbs frame perfectly. The color of blue is very pleasing to the eye and the corduroy is quite soft. I'll probably pick up a few more pairs. Read more
