You know that dark corner in the garage or tool shed or back of the closet or up in the attic? Is there a plug nearby where you can plug this in, or run a cheap extension cord to it? Get one of these motion-operated LED lamps and use the included cup hook and you're set. Absurdly bright and easy to set up, cheap, works every time you're close, banish the darkness from your life. These sensors have been awesome and they work very well. I have them in the garage and they provide a lot of light. Only issue is the fact that they have to thrown away when the panels stop working, which is usually one by one. Read more

This review is for hanging pluggable version. The light is plenty bright These lamps are pretty good. The first thing I want to say is that the "chain" for hanging it is included, only it's more of a sturdy cable than a chain, but perfectly adequate. I could not find that information when I asked here. The 60 second timeout is a bit shorter than it should be, which is why I took away one star. This thing probably uses less then 15 khw. I doubt you're saving much power by having such a low timeout. That's the only thing I would change, although it's good enough for my purposes. The detection range is adequate when you consider that the motion sensor faces downward. If you don't mount it high then the detection range will be very limited. You need a different light if you need to mount it lower. I installed mine on a high garage ceiling next to a door opener with a faulty light bulb socket, and the motion detection works fine. I am able to get plenty of light when a car pulls in or when I walk towards the car. It activates perhaps 10 feet from the vehicle. Read more

The media could not be loaded. I recently installed the Craftersmark motion-activated garage light, and I’m genuinely impressed. The brightness is outstanding—easily lights up my entire garage with its powerful 80W output. The motion sensor works flawlessly, detecting movement instantly and turning on without delay, which is perfect when I walk in with my hands full. The adjustable panels are a great feature, allowing me to direct light exactly where I need it—whether it’s over my workbench or toward the storage shelves. Installation was quick and hassle-free, even for someone who’s not an expert with wiring. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a dependable, energy-efficient lighting solution. Great value for the price! Read more

Dusk to dawn sensor is not adjustable. So right now at 6:20 pm PST here is wooded Woodinville, WA on bright July 13th day, I need more light in garage, but it does NOT come on. See attached photos 1 and 2. And without getting up on ladder to change setting to I = always on, there is no way to turn on and keep on that light to work in garage. High ceiling, needs big tall ladder. .. If I stop motion sensor, I can not use it at transit light without again getting up on ladder and changing setting to II=Motion Sensor On, which means no light on during low light times like right now. I now see, I must put andr just motion sensor lights without light sensor, in transit areas. Then, they will come on during bright daylight times for a short time, That is undesirable, but only during short Juky-Sept summer here in Seattle. ---- This light is good enough to be work light but I see now that it works well only as a tansit light at nighttime only. --- See attached image shot 3. This listing image on Amazon website says " Triggered by body temperature. So no false positive for movement of other objects" That is true. But no true positive either during cloudy, rainy days or evenings, in the garage or room with windows. Then this light won't come on when I go into that room and I need more light to see clearly. Dusk dawn light sensor is too sensitive. (This sensor would be good for my driveway lampost, but not indoor.) I like the fixture, light but daylight light sensor is not aligned with my light needs. And there is no way to turn off that light sensor and just keep the motion sensor on. Hello, add ability to turn off the light sensor also and keep it as motion activated only. I can ruen off wall switch on the 120 out of 365 bright light days here in western washington. Read more

Love it! We just screwed it into an old overhead lightbulb socket in our garage and Wow! It is excellent. Never having to worry about batteries is a huge plus. Perfect brightness, not blinding. Read more
