NOTE: My home is older, built in 1993. Though well made, it only has one old fashioned screw in light socket located in the middle of the garage. Over the years, I have put the strongest incandescent, florescent, single LED, and 5 panel LED screw in light bulbs in it. Each time it was noticeable brighter, but not workshop bright. However, this all changes last night when I screwed in the Craftersmark Sensor Garage light. Now, it is now like having skylights at noon. The number of circular LED panels make a difference, as they cover and make every corner clearly visible without shadows. I bought the one with a the on/off switch and motion sensor. While the motion sensor worked, it did not work for me, because I had to walk into the middle of a dark garage before it sensed me. However, the switch on the side, allowed for it to be set to a standard off/on mode. Thus, I could switch it on/off at the entrance as before. Also, if on a ladder, make sure your light switch is in the off position before installing. The instant brightness a foot away was blinding, like seeing 5 large camera flashes all at once! Giving these guys 4 starts for how bright they are, and your ability to customize the light using the adjustable panels. But, there are a couple of things that could make them better: 1) Allow a customized motion time - meaning, allow choices of like 1 minute, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 30 minutes. This is because if you are working in the garage and not underneath one to create motion, then they will turn off. So, not a great light to use if you need it for working on something where it won't see you working. For example - working on a car where you are a little hidden. That said, the motion detection does work well. 2) I noticed that when I have these on, they cause static with the audio receiver I have in the garage. Yes, I have 5.1 Surround sound in my garage, lol - just repurposing old equipment. When I turn on these lights, there's noticible static. As soon as I turn them off, the static is gone. Otherwise, very happy with the purchase. Would definitely recommend. Read more

The media could not be loaded. These cast a good deal of light vs the single lamps LED that were in our garage. Quick and easy installation. Simpler than hanging 4’ LED fixtures. Our ceiling is 12’ and these do an excellent job of illuminating the area in which they’re installed. I hope they last as long as they claim. I’m ordering two more for the other half of the garage.
