Update: Don't forget to check your batteries occasionally. You won't notice the batteries losing power or corroding until the electricity goes off and the time stops. The batteries take over during the outage, keeping the time going and also preserving the alarm setting. (I removed a corroded battery in time, and the clock worked with new batteries.) I'm still very happy with this clock! When the electricity went off for 90 minutes, the digital numbers disappeared. When the power returned, the clock was at the correct time. The alarm set time hadn’t changed from the previous setting. Setting the Time and Alarm are easy: 1-HOLD DOWN the Set Time (or Set Alarm) button for a second or two, until the Hour number starts flashing. 2- LET GO of the Set Time (or Set Alarm) button. The Hour number should still be flashing. 3- PRESS THE + or - BUTTON EACH TIME you want to move the Hour number. Ex: If you want to change the number from 1 to 5, press the + button 4 times (it will change to 2,3,4,5). Edit: You can hold the button down to quickly advance the numbers. 4- PRESS THE SET Time (or Set Alarm) button once, to keep the new setting. 5- Next, the MINUTE NUMBERS WILL START FLASHING. Use the + or - buttons to change the minutes. 6- PRESS SET Time (or Set Alarm) button to keep those minute numbers. The new set time numbers will be displayed, without the flashing. 24 hour is military time (1200, 1300, 1400, etc.) Too much math for this civilian. 12 hour is regular clock time. If it’s afternoon or night, change the time so PM shows. A clearance of 3.75 inches is needed if using a WALL ELECTRICAL OUTLET behind furniture. The converting brick is 2 inches long, plus the USB connection is 1-3/4 inches long. The cord itself is 58 inches long. The 2 prongs on the plug are the same size, so it will fit older outlets as well as grounded ones. This clock’s face is clutter free - no temperature, humidity, date, day, radio, etc. The numbers are 1-5/8" H x 7/8" W. I bought a second one for the kitchen, where it also serves as a night light. This is the second time we’ve purchased this clock. When a different clock in our bedroom was dying, we knew we wanted to replace it with this one. It’s small so it doesn’t take up much space and the numbers are large enough and bright enough to see with sleepy eyes, early in the morning or in the middle of the night. Ours is across the room and it’s still easy for both of us to see. I bought the one with blue light and I love it. Highly recommend! Read more

This basic alarm clock is really great for the price. Really simple to set up and use. I really like that you can dim the time to super super low or even off. I can’t stand bright lights when I sleep but this is perfect! It’s also very easy to turn the brightness back up during the day. So switching between bright/dim is very simple. My only cons are that even on the loudest alarm, I don’t think it’s that loud so we’ll see how well it actually wakes me up. And I don’t love the snooze/brand logo so big on the top but that’s a minor con. All in all a really great basic alarm clock! Read more

After returning 3 clocks to Amazon, I finally found the one I was looking for. All other clocks (including those with dimmer) had high intensity light that was disturbing at night time (even those with dimmer set to minimum). I’m so happy with this one the really has an analog dimmer. Read more

Big display for a small clock. Easy to use. I like the variable dimmer control instead of a clock with fixed levels of brightness. Has a nice sleek design. The USB charging port is a welcomed addition. Overall happy with the purchase. Read more

We cut the “cable” going just to “streaming”, so had to return our cable box. First thing we noticed is how much we used the clock in the cable box! This LED clock is perfect and the blue light is visible, but not intrusive. Read more
