This is a really striking sweater.. it’s open weave and what I would describe as chunky. It’s a blue black color with light gray bows. The bows are well made, but as you can expect, some do not lay flat. However, that does not detract from the looks of the sweater. Because of its fairly open weave, it stretches quite a bit, but still holds its shape. The sizing is accurate for the size chart. A 3xl is a standards US 3x in womens., in my opinion. Since this does have a lot of stretch, you could possibly get a smaller size, but it would not have the loose fit like in pictures.. I assume this sweater will need to be carefully laundered and stored to prevent snagging. It is 100% acrylic. Instructions say not to dry clean, but hand wash and lay flat to dry.. I would definitely put in a laundry bag if machine washing. The sweater is soft and comfortable. This brand makes nice plus size, flattering clothes which seem to fit me better than other brands. This cardigan is lovely! It's so soft - it feels like chenille, although I imagine it is not. It's well-woven, and I don't see any snags or misshapen threads. It looks just like the description photos. There's some heft to it, too, so you could probably get away with wearing it as a jacket on a mildly cool day. I think this is genuinely good quality.
