Over the past four years, I have bought somewhere in the neighborhood of 20 to 25 of these in total. I’m not a woman butI a man. I strictly use these to put in my Fleshlight to give it vibrations. If I strictly did this review based on how much I love this product, it would be five stars. However, there is a reason I have had to buy so many. Here is my list of the good and bad things about this product: The good: * the vibrations are excellent! * very good battery life! Wow, it does range depending on the setting you use, often the lowest setting works just fine for me and I usually get anywhere from an hour and a half to two hours per use. * it’s rechargeable instead of having to constantly replace batteries. * it has multiple (I believe eight) settings you can set it on. * it’s not too loud when I have it inside my Fleshlight device. The bad: * as I said earlier, there is a reason why I have bought so many. When it works, it is incredible! I use this device nearly every day. The problem is I have yet to buy one that has lasted longer than one month! During the course of the 30 days, the vibrations (and light) get noticeably weaker as time goes on. * eventually, the device will do one of two things. It will just suddenly stop recharging and becomes useless…. Or, as others have pointed out, will suddenly turn on and start vibrating by itself. This has happened enough to know that once it does that, I’m not going to recharge it anymore because while it will stop the automatic vibration by plugging it in, it doesn’t always stop. It will often times turn itself back on within seconds of unplugging it as well. This is caused much embarrassment for me when it happens in someone’s presence. * Whether the device automatically starts vibrating on its own, or not, it will stop allowing itself to be recharged. As mentioned, I have never had one last a full 30 days. Now, why do I keep buying a device that keeps failing is probably your next question. The reason is because it is fairly cheap, it works incredible when it does work, and almost every other one I see on Amazon or anywhere else usually requires batteries instead of being a device that can be recharged, and that’s a dealbreaker for me as often the batteries are those small kind that go and watches… and those never long enough for my sessions. I give this three out of five stars only because when it works, it’s incredible! I deduct two stars because every single device I’ve ever bought has never lasted more than 30 days. The media could not be loaded. I don't know if I should comment on the effectiveness of the vibrations considering I am a man, and the product is specifically designed for women, but I used it pretty much how you're supposed to use it, and it worked well for me. It seems strong enough - much better than my old phone's vibration motor, and the 10 vibration modes were very good. I also tested it submerged in a bathtub, and I often use it in the shower, so it's completely waterproof. I bought it in January, and near the end of February it broke. A couple of times it turned on in the middle of the night, and the second time, the only way to turn it off was to plug it in. From that point on, every time I unplugged it, it would turn on automatically and couldn't be turned off besides plugging it in again. This is a problem for me because, like I said, I'm a man, and I live in a college dorm with a roommate, and I don't want him finding out I have a vibrator! I'm hoping he thought it was just an alarm - it can be pretty loud, especially when vibrating against a hard surface. I tried fixing it by letting the battery die, but that only fixed it temporarily. What's worse, while it's broken, the vibration modes don't work! It's like it's a short-circuit straight to the motor. So, after thinking it through, I decided to try and get a replacement. I used the "Get product support" button on my list of orders, found an email on the website, and explained everything, attaching a video showing how it was broken. (That's the same video I'm attaching to this review). I also told them I had the original packaging if they needed it. They responded within 24 hours asking for my name and address so they could send a replacement! They had some trouble figuring out my college address, and after sending them a screenshot of the address Amazon used for my order, they didn't respond for over a week. I sent them an email asking if they were gonna ship it after 7 days, but then after 9 days, the replacement arrived in the mail! I still didn't get a response from customer service, but I got the replacement, so I'm happy. I still would have preferred if they let me know that they had shipped it. The replacement came in a brown cardboard box, same as the first one, so nobody at the mail room knows what I bought. Inside that box, it's the same packaging. My original vibrator is purple, but my replacement is cyan - that might be a good thing so I can tell which one is broken. Also, the new one came with a finger-sleeve attachment "for hands-free use!" The original one didn't have that. It's supposed to strap onto your fingers, but as a guy, I'm thinking of strapping it onto something else. A product that breaks right away deserves a 1-star review. However, it lasted almost 2 months (+1 star), customer service sent a replacement (+1 star), and customer service actually responded quickly (+1 star). That's why I'm giving it a 4-star review. Despite the complications with it breaking, it works very well as a product. If the replacement breaks though... I'm dropping it to a 2 or 3 star and I'm gonna buy from a different brand.
