I almost gave these three stars until I figured out how to use them. These speakers are dependent on a surface for their sound to truly come through. On their own as a floating speaker, they're kinda useless. The sound quality is all dependent on the surface you use. This is where things can get fun if you're creative. The backing is some kind of reusable adhesive pad that you can refresh with some water or alcohol. I've been sticking the speaker on everything to get different sounds. I got some good sound off a metal cabinet. Particle board desk, not so much. Some things sound tinny or really full of bass. I've only been playing with one so far. The radio feature is poor, unfortunately. I haven't figured out how to make it work, even with instructions. That would really make this little speaker amazing. Read more
when the speakers blew in my laptop these were a perfect gap fill. Very easy to set up. the battery life was good as I used it for a full work day and charged it at night. Arrived in a damaged box, so one of the speakers is broken. The sound quality is terrible no matter what surface and what settings you put it on. It sounds blown out, and if there's any bass in the song at all, the speaker just rattles distorting the sound. Read more
These speakers are awesome!! I got them for my 17 year old son. The night I gave them to him we went around the house to see what objects made the best speakers. The sound was great! We found the best objects were boxes, tubs, doors and the dryer. I put the speaker on the dryer while I'm on the treadmill and it makes a loud, full sound. We even stuck one on the heating duct in the basement above the furnace and played some Journey. We had "Don't Stop Believin'" playing through the whole house. They also can be paired together for stereo sound. I highly recommend these speakers!! Read more
Durable - since I dropped the little speaker on some steps and it still works. I had to use a wire tie from a loaf of bread to help thread the lanyard through the lanyard slots but now I'm less likely to drop the speaker. The size is convenient. I've decided to keep them in a snack sized ziplock bag. I found that they still work even inside the bag which means I can use them next to a wet area like a pool when they are in the bag. I connected both to my phone with bluetooth and they are indeed stereo without doubt. Battery was charged when I received them. I do not plan to use them at full volume to help protect battery life. They sound the best on a plastic folding table. The table is large and just the right thickness of material. I'm not sure if I will use the sticky pads that came with them since they get dirty easy. They work fine on a table top without the pads. Whoever is responsible for designing these speakers did a great job. I will likely buy more as gifts for other people. Read more
