This is a very nice, well-constructed men's leather bag with plenty of room for all your travel toiletries. The exterior of this bag is constructed from a brown full grain leather with a warm and masculine appearance. The detail stitching is even and flat throughout. The two side pockets, several interior pockets, and the large main compartment provide ample space for everything you might need and are very helpful for organizing -including small bottles you might want to transport upright. I also really appreciate that that the interior main compartment has a water resistant lining. Beyond that, especially notable are the high quality zippers. They are thick metal, bronze colored zippers, each with nicely detailed leather pull tabs attached. Also, for the center main compartment there are actually two zips -so that you can easily open or close your bag from either end. Overall, high quality construction, elegant detailing, and an attractive masculine appearance combine to make this bag superior to many other toiletry bags that I have seen and or tried in the past. This toiletry bag is made of the same high quality leather and zippers as the briefcase and is built to last. The stitching on the handbag is the same as the laptop bag. This bag has an inner lining to protect the leather from spills of liquids that are normally carried inside a toiletry bag. I got this unit off Amazon because I was tired of re-using the toiletry bags that airlines give you on long flights. I was tired of not being able to store all my things and not having enough compartments for different-types of items. This bag solves all of that. First, it is big. You can easily fit all those "long" items (e.g. tootbrush in its case) without a problem. The "thick" items (e.g. deodorant) also fit without a problem. As a matter of fact, it is perhaps a tad too big, but then again, that's what I was looking for! :-) It has pockets, independent, with their own zippers. Speaking of that, they are all metal, and the leather of the unit is very nice, with that wonderful new leather smell. If you want to have something to nitpick at, you can say that the leather makes it a little bit "stiff" so squishing it is not as easy as it would be with other bags. Once again, the quality of the leather and the thickness of it (which you need to guarantee it being spill proof) are the culprits, so all in all, you really can't fault it. I absolutely love this bag. It fits all of my toiletries for travel. The leather is beautiful, supple, yet durable. The zippers are beautiful and open and close silently and smoothly. Personally speaking I travel a lot and this bag fits my needs by allowing me to have a stylish, yet accommodating travel bag. Great kit, well made. very nice quality leather. Only gave 4 stars due to the bags lacking YKK zippers. If they had better zippers they would be 5 star. Don't get me wrong, these are very VERY nice bags for the price. I recommend you treat with Obenauf's leather oil. It will darken the leather but after a couple weeks the color comes back. If want a truly lovely, real leather travel kit, I can happily recommend this Polare product. The leather is thick and soft; the bag appears to be extremely well made; and there are narrow but useful zippered compartments on the outside in addition to two (one zippered) in the good-sized interior. Yes, it's certainly much pricier than the many "leather" (read the fine print) kits you'll find here, but my guess is that you'd be far more pleased with this if its dimensions etc. fit what you want. I'm not one to gush over a purchase… but the quality and utility of this bag is so good, it deserves five stars. I purchased this to replace my previous one that was fake leather. I thought I deserved a full-on upgrade. I've seen that toiletries can carry damp items (toothbrush, shampoo, floss, shaving equipment, and more - often fresh from the shower). My theory of the case is that unless a bag is made of high-quality materials, it will likely reach its logical end of life sooner than expected, from the moisture. Which is likely what happened to my last bag. On my quest for a quality product, I found this bag. Suffice to say, I was not disappointed. The leather of this bag is nice, I can see how over time it will become nice and supple. I like the overall size and that it has compartments. I travel in excess and could fit quite a bit in the compartments. The fact that it is leather should also mean it will expand over time. I am pleased with it and would highly recommend it. Real genuine leather, high quality, and durable! Looks and feels like an expensive bag should and fits perfectly in my luggage and gym bag. Beautiful design with elegant zippers!
