These look pretty decent. Comfy after first wash. Will see how it goes but not much shrinkage. Almost ordered a size up so they could be cooked in dryer but I think these will be ok. Nice wide waistband which is what I was looking for. Polo gear is usually generous on the material. I don’t see you doing any better than these for 10 a pair. I wore Gap boxers for years but like a lot of brands the quality has gone down and it’s hard to find decent stuff that holds up. Read more

My husband is an exclusive Polo Brand underwear guy. And these made me nervous because he’s very finicky about the elastic on the underwear, so he usually avoids the open elastic casing on the underwear. I bought these for him for Christmas, and he loves them. They’ve changed the elastic in the past decade so they’re much more comfortable, and now he’s throwing all his underwear away to buy more of these. So if your husband has been worried about the elastic quality the way my husband has, you can rest assured that they have upgraded the elastic in the past decade. Read more
Definitely better quality than the usual brands like Hanes, Jockey, Fruit of the Loom. More expensive, but worth it in my opinion. Read more

I found this brand of boxer shorts a decade or more ago and found them to be superior to many others, mostly in comfort. So I was a loyal customer. They were pricier, yes, but I was willing to pay. They were made of a soft cotton and had more workmanship and pleating than others. They fit better. These that I just I received via Amazon/Zappos are inferior. There is no longer a button on the fly. Instead of being composed of the cotton material folded over and stitched at the waist, they have now added an elasticized band that is not as comfortable. There is less pleating and as a result they seem stiffer and do not adjust to the customer's body as well. The cotton, is not as soft as it used to be, thinner but rougher. What has happened to clothiers? The overall effect and impression is they are cutting costs. There is less workmanship, less tailoring and cutting corners to save money. They are sacrificing quality and comfort. I will not buy these again b/c they are no longer any different from other brands which are less expensive. In many ways, clothes are inferior to what they once were. It also reinforces my bias against buying clothes on line. I need to see, feel and touch them first. I'm not a fan of returning items to Amazon since they have not always acknowledged my returns either and this creates more work for me to convince them I returned the item and it was their error.
