i have this in my room, and i love to have it on when the lights are off as well as my lava lamp for some mood lighting, its pretty bright and a really fun decoration even when its off, which it usually. one thing i will say is that when it's on, its sort of so bright that you can't see the purple color behind the bulbs but that is a very minor issue to me, personally i love it, its super cute.
