I wouldn't say it goes from grimy to gleaming in seconds, not at my house, anyway - but it works pretty darn good. Everything came in the package as advertised (except there are two each of the scouring pad brush, plastic brush and cloth cover). The instructions are included in an enclosed booklet. The only part I found a bit confusing was attaching the accessory nozzle. The instructions say to line up the arrow on the machine with the arrow on the nozzle; but for the life of me I don't see any arrows on the machine. I think I have it figured out anyway. The water reservoir holds about 500 ml of water in a tank that can be removed from the machine for easy filling or emptying. There's another built-in reservoir on top for adding optional detergent. It really is ready to go in about 15 seconds. One nice feature is the steam button - you can push it down and the machine continues steaming until you release it. There's a trigger to pull if you want to add detergent to the steam, which is a nice feature. It also has a self-cleaning button, which empties the machine when you're finished with it. Once I had the basics down, I took the machine into the nastiest place in the house - my son's bathroom. The bathtub is full of soap film and hard water residue. It really did do a good job cleaning the tub and tile - much faster than it would have taken without it. The machine itself is lightweight and easy to carry around, and I imagine it'll be one of those things that gets carried from room to room when the weekly cleaning is done. This will be particularly useful if anyone in the house has a cold or the flu. My biggest concern is that while it would be nice to have, it would be such a hassle to use that it would just sit on a shelf. I’ve only used this so far to smooth out some bad wrinkles on a coat, and it did the job pretty well. It heats up quickly and is easy to handle, which makes it convenient for quick touch-ups.
