Port Authority Team Jacket

Purchased a L & XL for new staff. Our entire maintenance team wears these jackets. Fit to size, they are made very well; roomy and have a comfortable lightweight feel, but still heavy duty with nylon outer material that repels light rain, blocks the wind and keeps you warm. Designed with a thick, sturdy zipper that has never broken or failed our busy team with all the lifting, bending and stretching they do. It also has a drawstring on the hood to help keep your head and ears safe from the elements, and around bottom of jacket you can also drawstring adjust to your level of comfort, then lock in place to fit snug around your waist. The wrist area of the sleeve is elastic with an adjustable strap. The inside liner is a soft cotton, light gray material. With normal wear and tear, this jacket can last you for years, and because of that, it makes this jacket a great value. We have our aqua blue company name embroidered on the front, upper left chest area of each jacket and it really pops on the black nylon material. I purchased this jacket to replace one that I had from an old job. It was my go to spring/fall jacket as it was just warm enough and also great when it rained as well. The major difference I noticed between this one and my old one is the "sweatshirt" lining on the old one was a cotton/poly blend and this new one is 100% polyester so it feels a bit thinner than the old one. Other than the interior fabric difference the jacket seems identical to the old one and decent quality for the price. This is a nice jacket. Good for layering or for when you need just a lightweight jacket with a hood. Seems well made although the zipper is a little lite, but aren’t they all these days. Plenty of room to work or fish in. It has a regular inside pocket on the right side and a very nice huge inside pocket on the left side. I mean I can carry a spare 40 volt work battery in that pocket. If you need a good utility jacket this one should work well for you. Read more

I absolutely love these style jackets! 1st off, it was a little loose around the waist, but this one has adjustable cords to tighten the bottom of the jacket. I normally wear an XL. so I bought a 2X because I do not like the jacket to fit tight. Keeps me warm to about 20 deg F when you wear a sweater underneath. Missouri winters aren't as bad as they used to be so this is my "go to" coat for all of winter unless it gets really cold. Its not a winter parka, but its warm enough and very light weight plus I can move around without it binding or being too tight. This is my second jacket exactly like this...my 1st jacket looks awful and looks too bad to wear in public so I wear it around the farm. BEST JACKET EVER! Read more

Can not say enough good things about this jacket. It is lined so it is not too thin. The lining is thin so not bulky or too warm. Repels rain as long as it is not pouring. Hooded to repel misty rain. Perfect weight versatile jacket. Love the royal blue for school events and have the black for work. Can be embroidered. Good Length to cover below waist area. Most Versatile jacket ever owned.
