Portable Air Conditioner - 90 Oscillating Tower Fan with Remote 16 Evaporative Air Cooler with 4 Wind Speeds

This took about 1 hour to decrease the temperature in my office from 75.8F to 74.4F and increased my humidity from 58% to 59% with ice water in the tank. My gauge sat about 3 ft from the fan and it was blowing directly on it. So I guess you can say it kind of works? I don't feel like it works as well as the 113 people who gave it 5 stars. It's not a 5 star product. You're basically paying over $100 for a fan + humidifier combo. Reading the reviews in hindsight now seems like there's some sort of review farm going on. And I'm also seeing some GPT dashes in the comments which make me incredibly suspicious that I overpaid for a fan that spits mist. It does not "cool quickly". Nor does it, "add humidity quickly". It does, however, "spin from one side to the other" which is an odd thing to boast about in many reviews... That's like saying the best part about my car is the tires rotate! I used to love Amazon for the reviews, but now I can see people have found a way around their review system. I expected this to work better based on the reviews. Now they all seem disingenuous. Giving it a 1 start because it is aimed to deceive customers. Otherwise it's a fan that you can load water into the top to add some slight humidity to the room. I have used this produce for two weeks and it works better than I expected. Surprising how little water it uses in the mist mode. Great for a small area very quite. How long it actually last only time will tell. Read more

It’s okay if you have a small space like an office or just a small room. My standard bedroom was still hot and it definitely didn’t cool like an ac. The settings are at a set temp so there’s no dialing it up like you would in an ac. Yes it provides cooled air and that little mist which is very tiny btw, for the price I can find fans that give waaaaay much more than this thing. These tower looking things always suck, but I took a chance anyways that’s my review. 😉 (in reality the price doesn’t match what you get, wow it’s digital big deal) I want to be COLD. Read more

It does not cool down whole rooms as implied. It's almost okay if it is blowing right on you, but even with ice it wasn't really blowing cold air. I will be returning it.On the box is shows that it can be used to keep you cool even if outside and I'm really not sure how that would work when it barely cools inside. Read more

This thing is fast and cool. Just added water and it works fine. Oscillates more than a traditional fan which covers more space in the room. Has a remote and multiple speeds. Will probably get a few more for those days you don't want full blown ac but need to keep cool. Read more
