This is just a fan + humidifier combo
This took about 1 hour to decrease the temperature in my office from 75.8F to 74.4F and increased my humidity from 58% to 59% with ice water in the tank. My gauge sat about 3 ft from the fan and it was blowing directly on it. So I guess you can say it kind of works? I don't feel like it works as well as the 113 people who gave it 5 stars. It's not a 5 star product. You're basically paying over $100 for a fan + humidifier combo. Reading the reviews in hindsight now seems like there's some sort of review farm going on. And I'm also seeing some GPT dashes in the comments which make me incredibly suspicious that I overpaid for a fan that spits mist. It does not "cool quickly". Nor does it, "add humidity quickly". It does, however, "spin from one side to the other" which is an odd thing to boast about in many reviews... That's like saying the best part about my car is the tires rotate! I used to love Amazon for the reviews, but now I can see people have found a way around their review system. I expected this to work better based on the reviews. Now they all seem disingenuous. Giving it a 1 start because it is aimed to deceive customers. Otherwise it's a fan that you can load water into the top to add some slight humidity to the room. It's nothing more than a fancy humidifier. And it's not really even good at that. Read more
